Giving Day 2024
Join BSU as we support our students for 1840 minutes of giving starting at 2pm Wednesday, April 10 through 8:40pm Thursday, April 11.
For 1840 minutes, the Bridgewater State University community will come together to provide more resources and learning opportunities For Every Student, Without Exception.
Starting at 2pm Wednesday, April 10 through 8:40pm Thursday, April 11 make your gift, to the fund of your choice, for BSU's annual Giving Day!
Bridgewater Fund Dollar for Dollar Match: All gifts made to the Bridgewater Fund on Giving Day will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
Colleges & Institutes Challenge: All gifts made to the greatest needs (current use) fund of your college/institute will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 to your college/institute endowed fund!
Student Challenge: YOU can help our students win an incentive prize of $250 to be used towards the winning club/organization that brings in the most Giving Day participation! All you have to do is make a gift, of ANY size to ANY fund, and choose your favorite student club/organization from the drop down in the giving form!

Alumni Decade Leaderboard Challenge: In addition to bragging rights, all alumni from the winning decade will win a special discount to our new online Vintage store.
Fundraiser Incentive: Start your own fundraiser by clicking the 'Become a Fundraiser' button above and share with your network of friends and family and encourage them to give to BSU for Giving Day! All Fundraisers who raise $500 or more will win a special BSU gift.
2024 Group Challenge Match: All gifts made to the following funds will be matched Dollar for Dollar up to $5,000!
1. Political Science: Dr. Shaheen Mozaffar Scholarship Award. This fund supports political science students who demonstrate excellence in research on international affairs.
2. IT: Ritesh Chandra IT Cares Student Scholarship Fund. This fund supports students studying computer science, technology, engineering, or information systems management.
3. Phys Ed Alumni Association: Thornburg Physical Education Scholarship. This fund supports students studying Physical Education.
4. Afro-Am Alumni Association: Jerrol J. Toledo Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund supports minority students in good academic standing with a proven record of co-curricular involvement and community service.
5. LGBTQ+ Alumnx Council: Achieving the Dream Fund. This fund supports programs that have been proven to close achievement/opportunity gaps for under-served students.
6. Residence Hall Association: RHA Scholarship Fund. This fund supports students living on campus in residential housing.
7. Phi Pi Delta: Phi Pi Delta Fraternity Scholarship. This fund supports upper class students who have demonstrated a commitment to academics, philanthropy and community service.
8. Football: Bear’s Football Endowed Fund. This fund provides flexible funding to advance the opportunities available to student-athletes and coaches through participation in the Football Team.
9. Academic Achievement Center Endowed Fund: This fund ensures that all BSU students have the resources and accommodations they need to succeed academically and provides flexible funding to support accessibility, leadership programs, peer mentoring, and more.
10. Prof. Uma Shama Endowed Scholarship Fund: This fund provides financial assistance for academically high-achieving Mathematics and Computer Science students with financial need.
