LBAC 2022

Climbing

This is a 3-day class for Climbing Instructor training. Students must actively participate in all 3 days. Students & Staff will also be required to register on the ScoutsOnRope.org database, information will be forwarded to you. Students must be registered with BSA, current in YPT training, and compliant with AB-506.

Sept 10, Ground School, at LongBeach Seabase, 8:30 AM start time - 6:30 PM

Sept 11, Class to be held on Natural Rock, details to be shared in class

Sept 17, Class Final on Natural Rock

Climbing Instructor In Training

Age 16-17. Must attend September 10-11 and September 17. Student Training Book Included

Climbing Instructor Level I

$50

Age 18+. September 10-11. On rock, Sept. 17. Instruction on equipment, knots, anchor systems, health and safety, commands, technique, etc.

Climbing Instructor Level II

$50

Age 21+. Must attend September 10-11. On rock training,September 17. Student, must be active and current Level 1 instructor.

Climbing Re-cert All Levels

$30

Recertification training any level, $30, student retraining to maintain current instructor level. Training book is available to purchase $25

Vaccination required to attend IOLS/BALOO. I certify I can show proof of COVID vaccination.
