I'm the refrigerator in CRC's food pantry and every summer, I get worried
for the children in our community
Schools are out, which means free breakfasts and lunches are over for the little ones. And, with spiking prices at grocery stores and gas pumps, I’m also worried about the grown-ups, too.
As you can tell, I’ve got a lot going on. People are counting on me, which can be a lot of pressure for a little refrigerator in CRC's food pantry.
Approximately 1 in 3 San Diegans can’t provide three nutritious meals per day for themselves or families. The good news is, you and I can make a real difference! And remember, we’re not just helping with healthy food ... we’re helping with stable housing and safety from domestic violence, too.
Your support is critical so our neighbors can create better futures for themselves and their families.
Together we can give hope – and help – that can change the future of so many in our community.
Your gift of ...
- $48 can help provide nutritious food to a child for a week
- $247 can help provide counseling for a child to heal from domestic violence
- $504 can help provide a night of shelter for 7 families experiencing homelessness
Thank you for making a gift today!
