United Way of Horry County’s (UWHC) Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax preparation and electronic filing services to Horry County residents.  This year there will be three sites for free tax preparation.  The sites will be Conway, Myrtle Beach, and Surfside Beach. The fourth location in North Myrtle Beach may be opened again with enough interest from volunteers.

Please fill out the following information if you are interested in being a VITA site volunteer. The volunteer positions and locations are listed below. Check the corresponding boxes to the position(s) and location(s) you are interested in serving.

Please select from the following locations where you would be able to volunteer. You may pick more than one location. VITA sites will be open beginning on Saturday, January 28.

Conway - Conway Library, - Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm from 1/28/2023 - 4/1/2023. The final pick-up date is 4/8/2023.

Myrtle Beach - Chapin Memorial - Wednesdays, tentatively 1 pm - 5 pm beginning 1/25/2023 - 4/5/2023. The final pick-up date is 4/12/2023.

Surfside Beach - Surfside Library - Mondays, 10 am - 2 pm beginning 1/30/2023 - 4/3/2023 and 2/17/23 and 3/10/23. The final pick-up date is 4/10/2023.

North Myrtle Beach - location has not been scheduled but will be opened based on volunteer interest.
