Join JQ and NuRoots for a cross-cultural celebration of liberation like no other! Get ready to experience a night of joy, freedom, and connection as we gather as queer and ally Jews and Muslims to break bread after Passover and celebrate Iftar together.
Lose yourself to the hypnotic rhythms of SWANA dances, indulge in the mouth-watering flavors of our cuisine, and join us in reclaiming our faith and spiritual traditions through a lens of liberation of all its members.
This is a night where we'll come together to celebrate our shared humanity and create a force of unity and love, challenging the structures of oppression that divide us. Don't miss out on this exhilarating evening of community, culture, and liberation!
This experience is part of the Collective Escape citywide festival powered by NuRoots, an initiative of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
