The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is an exciting place where heroes of the past are introduced to those who may become the heroes of the future. The museum is designed to teach the young people of this nation about patriotism and acquaint them with the courage, sacrifice and dedication of members of the Eighth Air Force. We believe there is no better teacher for our future generations than the example of our nation’s history. There is no greater example of character than the stories of the 350,000 Americans who served in the Eighth Air Force during World War II.
The Museum offers free admission to school groups by uniting with sponsors who underwrite the admission costs. Schools from across the state of Georgia and South Carolina are notified of the Be Our Guest Program and encouraged to book a tour and workshop for their students. With funding restricted in the public school systems, we are proud to be able to offer this program to our students.
