Join us for a cozy evening of connection and community at Shebrew Shabbat! As the autumn leaves fall, we’ll come together to celebrate Shabbat in a warm and welcoming space, complete with festive seasonal food, drinks, and beautiful Shabbat traditions. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this is a perfect way to unwind, connect with incredible people, and usher in Shabbat with gratitude and joy. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Shebrew Shabbat events are geared towards the lesbian, bi, pan, trans, and nonbinary queer womxn community. Although JQ welcomes all genders and sexual orientations to all of our events, we ask that you please be mindful that this particular event is meant to be a safe space for a specific identity group, and all those wanting to attend outside of that group should consider reaching out to JQ first before purchasing a ticket. Thank you for your understanding!
Tickets are available for purchase up until 10pm the night before. No tickets will be sold at the door. The exact address will be provided upon ticket purchase.
Accessibility:
This event will take place at a private residence in Brentwood. Street parking is available and a security guard will be present. There will be dim lighting, candlelight, and soft music playing throughout the evening. We will be celebrating Shabbat and lighting candles after Shabbat has already started. Name tags will be offered and guests will be encouraged to participate in optional ice breaker games to interact with others. Food will be served buffet style and will be Kosher. As always, ride sharing is always encouraged. If you have any specific accessibility requirements or questions, please list them in the 'Accessibility Needs Section' of this form or you can contact Jona Yadidi at [email protected]
Refund Policy
Ticket purchases to JQ events are non-refundable, but a credit may be applied towards a future event per JQ's discretion on a case by case basis. Transfer of a purchased ticket to another guest may also be granted. Please reach out to Jona Yadidi at [email protected] at least 5 days before the ticketed event to request a credit or transfer.
