At Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, we understand that in order for each girl to feel strong, smart, and bold, they must have the tools required to overcome any barriers to success they may face.

To support our girls and families during this challenging time, Girls Inc. of Metro Denver launched an on-site Learning Community this fall. GIMD’s in-person Learning Community provides technology and a safe environment where girls receive academic support to meet the demands of their online learning during the school day. In addition, Girls Inc. supports at-home academic needs of girls and families by providing:

• Laptops and Chromebooks to girls for at home-learning.
• Necessary accessories for effective learning, such as headphones, chargers, and more.
• Wi-Fi boosters to ensure reliable access to online classes.
• Supporting internet costs and providing mobile hot spots to bridge at home internet access gaps.

The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the widening technology gap and its impact on equitable access to quality education. Together, we can bridge this gap, so that all girls can have a stronger, smarter, bold future.
