Inspiration

Leland’s Fishtown is a favorite spot of mine. Looking toward the marina and the historic fishing shanties, shops, fishing boats, and the Mishe-Mokwa boat, which is ready for its next excursion, transporting explorers to North and South Manitou Islands.

Coastal Michigan offers endless inspiration for much of my work, painting in Watercolor or Water Mixable Oil.  I participate in Plein Air events and workshops throughout year, while freelancing in Design and Photography. I also love hiking, bicycling, tennis, kayaking, gardening, and above all, being with family, friends and two very cool beagles.
