Every year you will see events that empower women dealing with substance abuse, activities for Women United Members to assemble women and children’s hygiene kits, school bookbags and collect gifts for children whose mothers are in treatment during the holidays. The pinnacle of the year is our major fundraiser, The Power of the Purse which is held on the first Friday in May. Each year, the event continues to grow and to date, over $500,000 has been put back into Knox County.

The yearly dues to become a member is an affordable $50.00. Our goal is to have more than 100 members in 2022. If you are able and willing, we also will accept any larger donation as we put 100% of the dues into programming for the year.
