The Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation (AYTEF) is organizing a "MAYTEF" Teach-A-Thon fundraiser in collaboration with Universal Tennis Academy (UTA), in lieu of National Tennis Month, with the aim of supporting the youth in our program.
We welcome all Atlanta-based tennis pros, clubs, academies, league captains, and tennis players to contribute to our cause by participating in their own unique way throughout the city.
Top fundraisers will receive rewards and recognition, including a special gift for pros, league captains, and individuals who raise $300 or more, an award for the group who raises the most money among participating clubs, academies, and 2 free tickets to the UTA Night at the Atlanta Open for the pro or player who raises the most money.
By joining hands with us, you can make a significant difference in the lives of our AYTEF youth. Additionally, we hope to increase awareness about our mission and how the entire tennis community can play a vital role in supporting our program.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT IS AYTEF?
AYTEF is a Sports-Based Youth Development Nonprofit Organization
AYTEF curriculum follows sports-based youth development best practices, utilizing tennis as a transformative tool to foster holistic growth in under-resourced youth. Through comprehensive tennis programs, AYTEF instills life skills, character development, and educational support, aiming to create a positive environment where participants enhance physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. The ultimate goal is to leverage sport to contribute to the personal growth, academic success, and overall well- being of youth, equipping them for success in various aspects of life.
AYTEF is part of the USTA Foundation National Junior Tennis & Learning Network
The National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network, rooted in the visionary leadership of tennis legend Arthur Ashe, was founded by the USTA Foundation to bring tennis and education to underserved communities. Inspired by Ashe's commitment to social change, NJTLs not only provide tennis instruction but also integrate educational and character development programs. Ashe's vision emphasized using tennis as a means to empower youth, particularly those facing socio-economic challenges, fostering inclusivity and personal growth. The USTA Foundation's support of NJTLs aligns with this vision, aiming to make tennis and its associated benefits accessible to all, irrespective of background, and creating a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals.
The Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation (AYTEF) was recently named the 2022 NJTL Chapter of the Year by USTA Georgia.
