The Bibliophiles is an honorary society that recognizes the generosity of individuals who have named the Library Foundation of Los Angeles as a beneficiary in their estate plans. This esteemed group of philanthropists helps ensure that the Los Angeles Public Library will be able to inspire and educate future generations.
There is no minimum gift to become a Member of the Bibliophiles — simply inform the Library that you have named the Library Foundation in your estate plans.
As a Bibliophile, you will receive:
- Invitations to special events and luncheons throughout the year honoring the Bibliophiles;
- A subscription to the quarterly Library Foundation Newsletter; and
- Acknowledgement in the Library Foundation’s annual Honor Roll of Donors

Gifts to the Library are not subject to estate tax. Please consult with your attorney or other advisors to make sure that the gift you choose makes sense as part of your overall estate plan.
