Since 1942, the Department of Aerospace has prepared students to become the leaders of the next generation of aviation professionals by developing the knowledge, skills, values, and character necessary for successful careers within the aerospace industry.

The department has grown into one of the most respected aerospace programs in the nation, with twenty full-time faculty members, 100+ flight instructors, and over 1,000 majors, it is also among the largest of the nation's collegiate aviation programs.
