Inspiration

“Misty Morning at the Sailing Club” was an interesting study of subdued colors due to the mist in the air. Lucky we had shelter to stand under as a light drizzle was underway.

An oil painter since she was 16, Andrea earned an Associates Degree in Commercial Art, studied at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, earned a BFA in painting and a BFA in drawing from Eastern Michigan University, and learned Plein air painting at the Pacific Art League of Palo Alto while living in California.
