Join JQ on October 8th for a special Shebrew Shavdalah celebrating sapphic love on International Lesbian Day in Echo Park! Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner or grab a bite at a food truck as we mix and mingle under the stars and the glow of candlelight, ending Shabbat with a special Havdalah service. 

JQ will be reserving Swan Boat rides for those interested in taking a loved one, crush, friend, or new connection onto the water on Echo Park's famous swan boats! If interested in booking a Swan Boat ride, please be sure to select the "Shebrew Shavdalah RSVP" AND the "Swan Boat Reservation" options below. Swan boat tickets are available for purchase up until Thursday, October 7. Tickets purchased afterwards cannot be guaranteed a swan boat reservation.

Please note, this event differs from JQ's standard Shabbat experience at a lower cost due to guests providing their own food and refreshments. JQ will have SOME refreshments available, but please be sure to bring your own accommodations! More info provided upon email confirmation after ticket purchase.

Accessibility Guide
This event will take place outside on the grass at Echo Park Lake. Guests will need to walk from their cars to the designated spot, and may encounter slight inclines in terrain. There will be dim lighting, candlelight, and soft music playing throughout the evening. No microphones or amplified sound will be used for speakers. Name tags will be offered and guests will be encouraged to participate in optional ice breaker games to interact with others. Guests will bring their own food and eat picnic style. Street parking and metered parking is available, however ride-sharing is encouraged. Refund Policy
Ticket purchases to JQ events are non-refundable, but a credit may be applied towards a future event per JQ's discretion on a case by case basis. Transfer of a purchased ticket to another guest may also be granted. Please reach out to Jay Nemanpour at least 5 days before the ticketed event to request a credit or transfer.
