Student Retention Fund Match Program
Created in 2016, the Student Retention Fund provides critical resources to Lycoming College students performing well academically who are at risk of not completing their degree because of unforeseen financial hardships or excessive student indebtedness.
Three former chairs of the Lycoming College Board of Trustees, along with their spouses, have generously established a matching gift program to encourage contributions to the Student Retention Fund. Art Haberberger ’59 and his wife Joanne, Peter Lynn ’69 and his wife Joyce, and Stan Sloter ’80 and his wife Jolene ’80 will collectively match 50% of any gift made to the Student Retention Fund through the remainder of the fiscal year (June 30, 2022), up to a total of $100,000.
