• This rider will begin their ride from Chicago on Saturday, August 26th, stay overnight in Valparaiso, IN and complete their ride on Sunday, August 27th.

One-Day Rider

• This rider will begin their ride from Chicago on Saturday, August 26th and end their ride in Valparaiso, IN on Saturday, August 26th. They will be transported back to Chicago that afternoon.
• Mileage Count: 55.5
• Fundraising Minimum: $600

Ride Ambassador

• Can't participate in the ride? Be our ambassador! This supporter is someone who cannot participate in the actual ride in August but would like to support and have their own personal fundraising page.
• No fundraising minimum is required.

Volunteer

• There are multiple options to get involved with the Owl Ride for Jackson:
  • Set Up and Rider Check- In: Help JCF with set up of start line and check in riders upon arrival
  • Rider Cheering Squad: Cheer riders on as they approach finish line each day (Saturday in Valparaiso and Sunday in Chicago)
  • Road Crew: Help facilitate rest stops and assist riders along the Owl Ride route
• Location: Chicago, IL & Valparaiso, IN
• Commitment time: One day or two days (4-6 hour commitment each day)
• Age Requirement: All ages welcome
  • Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian

Owl Ride for Jackson does require a fundraising minimum for each rider. Two-day riders have a fundraising minimum of $1,111 and one-day riders have a fundraising minimum of $600. Volunteers are encouraged to fundraising but will not be held to a fundraising minimum. 

FOR TWO DAY RIDERS ONLY: This credit card will be used to reserve your hotel room. You confirmation will be sent shortly after you register. If you meet the $5,000 fundraising minimum, your hotel will be covered by JCF. If you'd like to change the credit card, upgrade or cancel your room, please contact the hotel directly. 

If you do not reach your fundraising minimum through donations to your page, we require each participant to cover the remaining funds to meet their minimum. The deadline to fundraise is Monday, September 2nd, 2024. By checking the box below, you agree to your fundraising minimum and for your credit card to be charged by Jackson Chance Foundation if you do not meet your minimum requirement.
