I give consent for myself or my minor being permitted to participate in the United Way 2021 Virtual Blizzard Blast (herein “The Event”), agree and acknowledge as follows: 1. United Way of Greater Nashua along with their owners, employees, staff, and assigns is conducting an Event called ”Blizzard Blast” as noted above. I will run, climb, crawl, hurdle, jump, duck, slide, spring and take any other actions to participate in a ten kilometer (approx.) outdoor race with challenge events in existing weather, good or bad. The Event will be held rain, shine, or blizzard. I understand there is a no refund policy and that all transfers must be done 14 days prior to race day. 2. I know the Event activities are potentially dangerous and that I could be injured or even killed, but I accept them anyway and assume all risks (including the inherent danger of the Event; the negligence or intentional acts of any person including myself or my minor, inadequate attire, dangerous ground conditions, spectator interference, natural causes, and all other causes of injury, damage or loss). I understand course conditions may be wet, cold, slippery, etc., and accept responsibility for taking precautions necessary to participate safely. If I am injured, I will not make any claim against United Way of Greater Nashua or any of their event partners. I will also indemnify (reimburse) United Way of Greater Nashua if any other person makes a claim coming as a result of my own actions. 3. I understand United Way of Greater Nashua does not provide medical services or insurance and that my ticket fee is non-refundable under any conditions and does not include these benefits. 4. I know the Event will be conducted on land not belonging to United Way of Greater Nashua, and that because United Way of Greater Nashua may not be familiar with any dangerous conditions there, it has no duty to provide warning of conditions for which they may not be aware of. 5. I will at all times conduct myself in a careful manner, will not injure or damage any other person or property and will obey all laws, Event Rules, and Event Staff (including security personnel engaged by United Way of Greater Nashua). I will not while participating be under the influence of any alcohol, drug, or substance nor consume any of these. 6. I do not have any mental, physical, or other health conditions, which would make my participation in the Event inadvisable or dangerous. 7. I am not an employee of United Way of Greater Nashua and have no rights other than to participate in the Event. 8. If I am injured or have any other type of loss or damage (including theft of personal property), I will not make any claim against United Way of Greater Nashua. I will also indemnify United Way of Greater Nashua if any other person makes a claim coming as a result of my own actions. 9. I understand that in participating in this event, I give full release of my image to United Way of Greater Nashua for promotional, marketing, and other business purposes. 10. I agree that my being permitted to participate in the Event is adequate consideration for the releases, waivers, and indemnities given herein. 11. Specific to COVID-19: A) I have not myself tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 30 days, nor have I knowingly been in close contact with any person testing postive for COVID-19 within the past 30 days; B) I do not have a fever, cough, lack of smell, or other COVID symptoms today; C) Should I contract COVID-19 as a result of my participation in the Blizzard Blast event, as a runner or as a volunteer, I agree to hold United Way of Greater Nashua completely harmless.
