He really enjoyed the friends he made and the smiles on the Olympians faces when he announced their names and they received their medals. He passed away December 27, 2021 and the family and friends and others would like everyone to give to the Special Olympics in his honor and memory

Jennifer spent her life as a caring and nurturing person who never expected anything in return. She worked as a functional academics teacher aid at Harrison Hill elementary and before becoming ill she did respite care for Noble of Indiana. I ask that you donate to Special Olympics, an organization that our family believes in whole heartedly, so she can continue to give.
Special Olympian Christopher J. McClam loved his Uncle Howie Liebengood, enjoyed spending time with him, displayed great joy and confidence in learning new things, and traveled everywhere with him. Simply put, Howie loved Christopher and supported him in every way, especially through Special Olympics. This campaign honors Howie's life and his passion to see that Christopher and other beautiful souls with intellectual disabilities experience happiness, celebration, and friendship.

Hey Everyone! My name is Sebastian Villalobos and I'm representing The Chi Deuteron chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa at Washington State University as the Character/Philanthropy chair for this Semester. We as a national fraternity have always been raising money and awareness towards the Special Olympics with Face-to-Face events throughout our beautiful campus. Now because of Covid-19 we are now limited to Online fundraising which is a bummer for getting the Pullman community involved, but me and my brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa are taking initiative and seeking an opportunity from Pandemic to have a larger and more significant outreach. We as a family and community all share a significant experiences, connections and love with special needs kids, adults and athletes who we just want to support in anyway we can so they can have a life full of smiles and support. We as a Chapter are Damn Proud to be supporting this amazing organization who have given many people hopes, dreams and aspirations to feel like a super star. Let's try and reach our goal of $2,000 :)
The Imperial Outlanders: Emerald Empire Detachment sadly cannot attend a polar plunge this year due to social distancing, but that doesn't mean we're not going to experience the temperatures of Hoth! Our squad is putting together an ice bucket challenge to raise money for the Special Olympics of New York, an organization that has inspired and assisted people with different intellectual needs and creates empowerment through physical activity and sports. HOW IT WORKS: Within 24 hours of being challenged, participants have to record a video of themselves in continuous footage. First, they are to announce their acceptance of the challenge, followed by pouring ice into a bucket of water. Then, the bucket is to be lifted and poured over the participant's head. Then the participant can nominate a minimum of three other people to participate in the challenge. You may donate any amount of money at any time, of course. Donation Suggestions: Nominated by another IO member: $3 if you ice yourself within 24 hours of nomination $23 if you do not ice yourself within 24 hours of nomination Nominating yourself: $3 for yourself and $3 for each person you nominate to ice themselves within 24 hours of nomination. They will then need to follow the protocol above. Repeat Nominees: You may repeat the challenge as many times as you are nominated with the addition of a contribution as it states above. However, since you have already donated once, it is fair to forego donating again. If you wish, hold up a piece of paper during another video with the number of challenges you've been nominated for, share the challenge on your social media page, then nominate four more people to participate.

The 1st annual Phi Sigma Kappa Special Olympics event! Phi Sigma Kappa at Clemson University has a strong interest in supporting Special Olympics. This year we decided to conduct our own Special Olympics event which will include athletic competition within our Clemson Life program, a raffle, and food! We hope to reach our fundraising goal for this event which will be directly donated to the National Special Olympics organization. As a fraternity, we hope to continue this tradition in the years to come while expanding our involvement within the Special Olympics community!

All donations go towards helping the Special Olympics in their mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Hi. My name is Gemma and I am currently a junior and captain of the girls varsity golf team at Pine Crest School. As many of you may already know, I love to play golf. Over the past couple of years I've enjoyed working with the Special Olympics organization to help those with special needs have better access to sports such as golf and basketball. Volunteering at Special Olympics tournaments and sports clinics has been incredibly rewarding. Sports have always played an important role in my life and have impacted the person I am today. It has become a priority of mine to help facilitate inclusion in sports. With that being said, I will be hosting a Pledge to Play golf day. You can sponsor my match by donating on the link below. Your donation to Special Olympics contributes to the attire, equipment and health supplies that can transform a special needs athlete's life for the better. Please aim for a donation of $25+ but anything and everything will be appreciated. Looking forward to Saturday!
