I've been a supporter of the Special Olympics for many years and I'm reaching out to people in my industry to ask that you give to this amazing organization. These boys, girls, men & women all want to succeed like you and I do. Special Olympics brings joy to people who need help and their families. If you need more information please reach out to me and I'd be happy to fill you in on what they're doing and how little it takes to change a life. I've started with a $1000 donation to get the ball rolling. Anything you can do to support this effort would be greatly appreciated. Peter Dyroff

The 1st annual Phi Sigma Kappa Special Olympics event! Phi Sigma Kappa at Clemson University has a strong interest in supporting Special Olympics. This year we decided to conduct our own Special Olympics event which will include athletic competition within our Clemson Life program, a raffle, and food! We hope to reach our fundraising goal for this event which will be directly donated to the National Special Olympics organization. As a fraternity, we hope to continue this tradition in the years to come while expanding our involvement within the Special Olympics community!

Hi, I am Przemek, friends call me "Shem". I am from Poland and I am a professional dancer and dance teacher currently working in one of the dance studios in Columbus, Ohio. Alongside with my fellow colleagues from Expedia Cruise Center in Destin, Florida, I am also an organizer of the exclusive Dance Cruise to South America in 2022. This trip is designed for people who love to travel and dance. While on the ship we will have an opportunity to have plenty of experience with ballroom dancing. With the Expedia Team in Destin Florida, we were looking for ideas on how we can contribute to the Florida community through the dancing. Personally, I always wanted to support the charity that will be close to my life experience. My step father was a disabled person moving on the wheel chair. After his accident while on duty for National Service in Poland in early 70's he was told that he will no longer be able to walk and his life may not last longer than another ten years. Well, he proved otherwise. He lived for another 44 years. I only met him when I was 7 years old. He showed me how to be strong and have faith in anything that we do. No matter what kind of disabilities you may have, giving up on something has never been a case. He loved music and playing it. He was always capable of everything: he cooked for my mum and me, he knew how to fix stuff and he just never let us feel that he needs to have any extra assistance. He was very independent. I believe that his personality and character grew not just because of his struggles and commitment to live happy life but also because he was surrounded by family and friends who loved him, the way he was. Unfortunately, we saw a lot of examples of discrimination while being out and about and that was in some ways patronizing and intimidating to our family. Although Special Olympics supports people with intellectual disabilities and yet my step father was disabled physically, I believe that no disabilities should be discriminated or treated differently. After telling my story to my colleagues from Expedia Team and reading about the mission of Special Olympics we believed that this charity is the closest to our heart and we would like to support it.

The Tau Psi Omega (Reds) fraternity at Gustavus Adolphus College are a group of predominately football players, as well as other athletes on campus, who want to support and give back to Special Olympics. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to compete in a sport, and most importantly be able to build relationships with others and enjoy their time on the court, field, rink, etc. as an athlete. We plan to partner with Special Olympics annually and grow as a fraternity through the process.
A dear friend of mine was telling me that my being a Coach for Special Olympics was just as, if not more important than the person who just donates money and walks away. He said that even if Special Olympics had a million dollars, the athletes still could not do a thing without Coaches.I feel pretty good about that. And about Coaching. But even as a Coach, I know that Special Olympics needs money. That's why, to celebrate Solo's birthday, I decided to see if I could garner a mere $100.00 from the social media world to support Special Olympics..

If you ever met my brother then you know what joy he brings to the world around him. And attending any special olympics event is truly awe inspiring but especially when you're there cheering on your brother. As the years go on participating and attending the summer games with my brother it's becoming apparent that the volunteers and funds are growing lower each year. For such a special event to so many people it's really upsetting to see. New Year's Day I was thinking about doing a polar plunge and I was thinking of a good organization to raise money for, and well this organization hits close to the heart for me. The cold water will definitely make you feel alive but not as much as watching these special athletes compete. I'll be sharing this fundraiser periodically before the plunge and of course post a video of me freezing my tushie off new years day while my brother takes a seat to cheer me on this time! Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help out ♥

Ralph loved to pay it forward. Throughout his 50 years of teaching, he had great passion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. They brought him great joy. Because of this, we are choosing to honor him and his volunteer work at the 2010 2nd Annual Special Olympics U.S. National Summer Games and thus our goal of $2010.

Rick was a proud member of the Will County Special Olympics and now shares his love with his grandson Landon who has been a Special Olympics athlete for the last two years. Donations will be made in Rick's memory.
I am a regular guy that has always been inspired by these amazing athletes that show so much heart. I would like to run a mile for every $10 donated to raise money for the Special Olympics. I chose the Special Olympics because they give these great athletes the opportunities to show the world that they are champions.

My partner Evan and I are both avid athletes. Evan is a varsity basketball player while I am a varsity soccer player. Sports are essential to society, providing social and physical benefits. We believe the joy in sports should be available and spread to everyone, able or not. At our school, Newark Academy, we have created a 3v3 basketball tournament with an entry fee of $10 per team to raise money. Additionally, we hope for any further donations to be made in support of the cause.
Support the Special Olympics and help athletes of all abilities achieve their dreams. Your donation fuels inclusion, acceptance, and the power of sport. Join us in creating a world where every athlete can shine.
