The Lions of Florida, The Bahamas, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao strongly support the Special Olympics and are excited that the North American games will be held here in Florida in 2022. We would like to celebrate our local athletes by raising money for them to compete. Please be generous in helping us with this worthwhile cause.

If you enjoyed this trivia game event, then it would be wonderful if you could donate as much money as you can to the Special Olympics Foundation, it would be much appreciated and would be put towards helping get more kids off the sidelines and into the ground of play! Thank you, Special Olympics Club Needham

While hiking the 500-mile Colorado Trail, I'm hiking to raise awareness and funds to support Special Olympics. These athletes are such an inspiration with their courage, dedication, and heart as they overcome their individual disabilities to rise up to the challenge to be better athletes while strengthening bonds with their communities. The goal is to raise $500, which is $1 for every mile of the Colorado Trail. Together, we can all be stronger athletes with the proper training and motivation!

With the start of my Law Enforcement career since 2019, I have been honored to be a part of the Special Olympics fundraising and Law enforcement Torch Run Events. It is a joy to be able to contribute volunteer hours, and working hours within my respective Agency at a local Sheriff's Office to fundraise for these amazing athletes. I've had the great pleasure, especially within the difficult year of 2020/2021 to have met some of our local athletes here in Brighton, Colorado. This fundraising will help the athletes maintain their Olympics clothing, transportation, etc!

Welcome to our team page: UWSP Pointers for Special Olympics! Hello! Thank you for visiting our page! For over 9.5 years, NCAA Division III has nurtured a partnership with Special Olympics that we hold dear to our hearts. UWSP's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has created a team for the 2021 Polar Plunge: Chillin' at Home. While we can't jump into icy waters this year at the actual Polar Plunge, we're making our own fun at home and still showing the athletes of Special Olympics Wisconsin that they have our support! After our fundraising is complete, we will be compiling a video of representatives from our athletic teams participating in creative ways to take the plunge (taking an ice bath, dropping a bucket of ice water on ourselves while performing our favorite TikTok dance, making swimsuit snow angels, having a winter water balloon fight, etc.) that will be shared with our family, friends, and supporters. Special Olympics athletes not only break down barriers to build communities of inclusion, but they spread light wherever they go, and they inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves. We are very grateful and blessed to have a partnership with Special Olympics, and we strive to advocate their amazing mission. Please consider joining or making a donation to our team for this great event! The cost to support one athlete for one year is $757--help us reach our goal! We greatly appreciate you and your generosity! Thank you, UWSP SAAC

I chose to start joining and helping with the special Olympics in 4th grade. I beleive no matter what you may seem, someone always has potential. I want to help make that potential spark. I also love to see a smile on others faces. That's why i started.

Thankful for all you sports fans! With your donation, an athlete will be able to break through stereotypes and achieve their own goals on the field. Many athletes are still waiting for that chance but these donations will allow more and more to hop on the field. ANYTHING helps!
