This is a presence based trip where we will visit underprivileged children at a local parish, spend time with the elderly in nursing homes, and work on building projects. Your support will help offset transportation, housing, and meal cost— making this life changing trip more accessible. I would greatly appreciate any support you can give to help reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar helps!
Hello everyone! This upcoming May, I will be embarking on a service trip through the University of Scranton International Service Program. After going through an interview process, I have been selected to participate in a presence based trip in Jamaica. This trip will allow me to work with children in very poor areas, spend time with the elderly in the local nursing home and work on building projects. I am extremely excited to participate in such a humbling experience, and due to the high costs of this trip, my committee and I are trying to fundraise as much as possible. Any donation is greatly appreciated, as it will go towards the transportation, housing and meal costs of this 7-day journey. Thank you so much for your time and support, and know that each dollar makes a huge difference.

Hi everyone! I am beyond excited to announce that I will be traveling to Quito, Ecuador this summer, May 29th-June 6th, with the University of Scranton's Campus Ministries' International Service Trip Program (ISP). This program provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to be immersed in cultures and experiences in developing countries of our world. In Ecuador, I will be working with The Working Boys' Center which serves over 400 families in three schools in the capital of Ecuador. I will have the opportunity to engage in both school and community projects focused on the program’s commitment to formation and social assistance. I will also be participating in a Minga, which is a community construction project and visiting cultural sites. As an education major, this trip will provide me with life-changing opportunities to work in schools and educate children internationally. If you would like to learn more about The Working Boys' Center, you can check out their website: http://www.c4wf.org/I am so grateful for this incredible opportunity. Hi my name is Stephanie, I want to become a doctor because I want to be able to impact individual’s lives positively. I still have some time to go until I complete that journey. In the meantime, I have been given a wonderful opportunity to be of service and help others by going to the Dominican Republic and build houses for families. Just because my desired profession requires years of training doesn’t mean I have to wait until then to start serving others and making a difference in this world! Any donation to help me reach my goal will be appreciated! Thank you!
