This year, I'll be traveling to Guatemala with fellow students from The University of Scranton to participate in a labor-based service trip. While on this seven day trip, our group will be building and updating houses and a medical clinic in hopes to have an extensive impact in a rural Guatemalan community. Hi! My name is Adela Saliaj and I am a second-year student at the University of Scranton. I am majoring in Physiology and minoring in Philosophy. I was honored to be selected to take part in an International Service Trip to Guatemala! During this trip, I will be given the chance to work on different projects with students at the University and the people of Guatemala! We will be leaving May 30th 2018 until June 9th. I have never gone on a service trip before, so this trip will allow for a unique kind of growth. The total expense for this trip will be $1,100.
