Leon Harris Leon was a loving husband & father who fought to the the very end. He touched so many of our lives with his kindness and generosity. Leone Mee For those of you who know Leone, you know that she was one of a kind. We all knew her as a vibrant person who was always dressed up and made sure she matched everything-- with extra sparkle on it! We were unaware that when she started having breathing issues in Dec. 2017 that within 6 months this disease would become terminal and take her from us too soon. Apparently, she had this disease for years but didn't show symptoms until it was too late. Now, that we are learning more about this disease, we hope others can learn about it too. In memory of our loving mother, please consider donating in hopes that a cure can be found, and/or additional treatments can be provided to those that suffer with this disease and their families. Leslie lived with Pulmonary Fibrosis for over 15 years. Additionally, she was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and Interstitial Lung Disease. She would spend hours researching her condition and talking with doctors. At times, even educating her doctors on what she found (no surprise to those who knew her well). Having knowledgeable doctors and caregivers is of utmost importance when dealing with a terminal diseases such as PF. Lewis Robert Ullman, 84, of Mechanicsville, VA passes away on November 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sol and Helen Ullman and his mother and father-in-law, Dan and Stella Sussman. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 53 years, Carol Ullman; his daughters, Jeanine Ullman (Steven Wightman) and Alison Brewer (Jason); his amazing grandson, Daniel H. Robertson; his sister, Myrna Cottelli and brother-in-law, Butch Cottelli, in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as several longtime friends. Lewis loved anything Goofy (from Disney), as well as a love for the Brooklyn Dodgers and the NY Giants. His love for Hess Trucks led him to collecting one every year, for over 40 years. He also loved cars, John Wayne and all types of memorabilia. Lewis was known to enjoy a good laugh with friends. What was most important to him was his family. He worked hard his entire life to give his family everything he could.
