Edgardo Camacho "Edgardo Camacho went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 2, 2017, after a valiant battle against pulmonary fibrosis.Ed was a graduate of Don Bosco Technical Institute, elementary and high school, Manila,Philippines. He earned a BA in Journalism and an MA in Mass Communications from the University of the Philipppines, Manila. He taught at University of the Philippines, Baguio,In 1987 he immigrated to the the United States. He helped found two Christian and Missionary Alliancechurches in Chicago. In 1990, he married Edith. He worked as a data analyst at Moody Bible Institute for 21 years before taking early retirement due to declining health. He pursuedwoodworking in his retirement and was a life long poet. Ed was exceedingly proud of both of his sons, as well as his extended family.Loving husband of Edith (Abbott) and devoted father to William and Paul. He is survived by his father, Alejandro Camacho, his mother, Conchita Camacho, four brothers: Benjamin, Alejandro Jr, Ronald (Beth), and Rolando (Marilyn). His sister, Maria Camacho. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family." Hello! My aunt, Tisha Gordon passed away suddenly due to a mix of health issues but one of the main problems that prevented her from getting better was her fight with pulmonary fibrosis. My grandmother was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in October of 2014 and lost her battle with this horrible disease on May 25th, 2019. We never understood why someone so kind-hearted and selfless was dealt such a rough hand, but you would've never known what she was up against. My grandmother was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to a big, loving family. She enjoyed playing bunco, attending church, and watching her grandkids play everything from baseball to basketball. She was also a die hard University of Kentucky fan. I still don't understand why she was called home so soon, but we continue to keep her memory alive and I know she would want nothing more than to help those who are battling this same disease. Harvey Davis was a loving and very giving husband, beloved father, and friend. He retired from the Navy, Army, oil delivery, Philadelphia Fire Department (as a Lieutenant) after many years. In his retirement, he started a new job as a public transportation bus driver. Always working and caring for his family and others it came as a shock that he was diagnosed with the rare lung disease "pulmonary fibrosis." Tje doctors had an inkling that this diagnosis could very possibly be due to his service in many chemical and smoke based jobs. Harvey leaves behind a loving wife, 2 daughters, 2 sons and 6 loving grandchildren.
