Covington County

Help today's youth become tomorrow's leaders in Covington County! No matter the project, Alabama 4-H in Covington County grows confident young people with the life skills to thrive in today’s world and succeed in their boldest dreams for tomorrow. At nearly 160,000 members and participants strong, Alabama 4-H is the largest youth development organization in the state of Alabama. Supported by families, partners, staff, volunteers, and youth, we have the strength and capacity to grow young people with the confidence, curiosity, and life skills to become college, career, and family ready. Alabama 4-H, part of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, has expanded its resources to include not only traditional programs, such as 4-H livestock judging and 4-H competitive events, but also new opportunities as well. 4-H offers a variety of clubs in Covington County for youth to become involved in their community. These are just a few of the many ways your gift can provide endless smiles in today’s Alabama 4-H. Help young people and their families gain the skills needed to be a proactive force in Covington County and to develop ideas for a more innovative world. “I strongly believe that two of the greatest things 4-H has taught me is to value and appreciate the differences in people; and that it is my responsibility and privilege to help others through service.” Marion Bell2020-21 Alabama 4-H State Ambassador

Lauderdale County

The 4-H Horse club in Lauderdale county is open to a variety of ages and skill levels, from our junior club "Clover Bits" to our advanced club "Lauderdale Lopers". Youth learn confidence and horsemanship in a controlled safe environment with mentors that train and encourage them to learn the skills they need to compete at the annual 4-H horse show in Rainsville AL. Please consider a donation to help with registration fees and travel expenses for our young riders who have worked hard to become riders that will represent Lauderdale county well.
