Alex Mulvaney

Alex grew up in Dyersburg, Tennessee with his parents and three siblings. He studied electromechanical engineering at Murray State University in Kentucky. After going on a short term missions trip through CrossRoads in New Orleans, Alex felt called to join the team working full-time in New Orleans. Five years later Alex is now the Field Director for the CrossRoads New Orleans field. Some of his favorite things about working in New Orleans is the strong sense of community and how many of the local ministries work together to improve their city. Amanda Rodriguez

Amanda was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. The thought of working cross-culturally never crossed her mind until she became interested in the Spanish language in college. One summer she wanted to immerse herself in the language and was trying to decide between a ministry internship in a Spanish-speaking country or a study abroad trip to Spain. Praise God she went with the former, and she interned with CrossRoads Missions Mexico without ever having gone on a missions trip beforehand. After graduating college, she moved to Piedras Negras to teach English. Amanda eventually married Victor, and they made their home in Piedras Negras and are now a family of three. Victor and his Mom run a restaurant in the city. Amanda serves as the director of operations for CrossRoads Mexico. Her responsibilities include administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and coordinating trips. Her favorite part about the ministry is being able to organize and provide opportunities for Christians from two different cultures to work together to enhance already-existing ministries within the city of Piedras Negras. She enjoys facilitating church teams and plugging them into meaningful, long-term projects and activities with local ministries whose desire is for the city to know Jesus.

Nathan Holt

The thing I love most about being a Storytellers’ missionary is the fact that in every partnership we undertake, the biggest winner is always the Kingdom. Whether our projects are meant to be used to share the Gospel, as teaching and training materials, as tools used to increase prayer, involvement, or awareness, or if their purpose is to better connect overseas ministry partners to those sending them, whether they will be seen by hundreds or tens of thousands, Storytellers ALWAYS seeks to champion the global mission of the hope we have in sharing Christ’s story with the lost world.
