Please join the Ascending to Men (ATM) Project as we collect non-perishable foods in an effort to give back to our community; we subscribe five L principles of Live, Laugh, Love, Learn and Lead. This food drive allows us to embody our beliefs and uplift those that are most in need.
Vital Family Chiropractic is a local business in The Heights who loves giving back to the community. During the month of November our goal is to donate as much food as possible to families in need. Please stop by our office and donate what you are able to give. We are located on 1535 Yale St. Houston, TX 77008. If you aren't able to donate food we kindly ask you donate any dollar amount that you are able to provide. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!
Following the flooding from Tropical Storm Imelda, the State of Texas has declared seven of our 18 counties as disaster areas. The Houston Food Bank has begun disaster response in hardest hit areas –including distributing 239 pallets of food, water and supplies and providing hot, ready-to-eat meals to our neighbors in Chambers County. However, they could use help. Let's try to do our part by bringing in canned, non-perishable food that we can donate to the Houston Food Bank. I will collect and provide containers starting next week.
Sarah Gallipeau, your local Certified Health Coach and Yoga Instructor, invites you to give back to our city of Houston. From October 1st until November 8th, she will be hosting a food drive fro the Houston Food Bank. Contact her at (936) 662.9455 for more information.
