Every year, the new members of Xi Epsilon choose a cause important to them for the sorority to fundraise for in our annual Floozapalooza philanthropy event. This year, our new class chose the Special Olympics as a cause near to their hearts:"Growing up, I have always helped the special needs children in church and school so it’s something I hold dear to my heart. I feel like children with special needs and diasabilities get over looked a lot, and we heard about that funding for this cause has decreased we wanted to take action. The Special Olympics is so important because it gives people with special needs the opportunity to show everyone that they can do anything, even with a disability."

Hi everyone, in honoring Barb on her retirement, I thought it would be fitting, after her fabulous fantasy football record, to donate in her honor to the Special Olympics.
Hi Everyone! I thought it would be a great idea to do a fundraiser in Barb's honor for her retirement. Due to her fabulous fantasy football season, this seemed like the appropriate charity. You should be able to donate anonymously if you choose. Feel free to share the link with others. Cheers
We are just two dads looking to better the World a little bit. As streamers we believe we can provide a positive impact on the World around us. We both have a place in our hearts for the Special Olympics and want to help athletes reach their potential. Thank you for helping us out!
Hey friends, I care a lot about being helpful and kind to people that need help doing activities like sports and school. In my opinion everyone should be able to play a sport no matter what is stopping them. Instead of birthday presents for me please help donate money to help others be better at things they want to do. thanks. hudson
Since 1968, Special Olympics has offered a place of teamwork, leadership, and competition for those of us who struggle with intellectual disabilities. The organization works to bring a better, more inclusive tomorrow. At CSC, we too hope to bring about change in a positive way, and are often greeted with opportunities like this one to give back and make a difference. Through the power of sport, Special Olympics hopes to instill joy and confidence into each of the 200 million people who live with intellectual disabilities, while also encouraging physical fitness and good health. Please consider making a donation to support the tremendous strides Special Olympics continues to make toward a more accepting, inclusive world.
Hi! I will be raising money for Special Olympics this holiday season! I have been fundraising for the foundation since 2011, and would love to organize another fundraiser for this special time of year. Anything you can offer is greatly appreciated!
If you ever met my brother then you know what joy he brings to the world around him. And attending any special olympics event is truly awe inspiring but especially when you're there cheering on your brother. As the years go on participating and attending the summer games with my brother it's becoming apparent that the volunteers and funds are growing lower each year. For such a special event to so many people it's really upsetting to see. New Year's Day I was thinking about doing a polar plunge and I was thinking of a good organization to raise money for, and well this organization hits close to the heart for me. The cold water will definitely make you feel alive but not as much as watching these special athletes compete. I'll be sharing this fundraiser periodically before the plunge and of course post a video of me freezing my tushie off new years day while my brother takes a seat to cheer me on this time! Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help out ♥
My son Jesse participates every year in the Special Olympics. This year I want to be able to help not only my son but others with special needs to be able to participate in this awesome event. With your donations you would not only be helping Jesse but others like him. Your donations will help with transportation, any equipment that they will need for the events. I want to thank you in advance for your donations and help.
I have a compassion and an empathy for those with disabilities and their families. I believe in the power of sport to transcend difficulty and limitation by providing joy and unity. I have setup this fundraiser for the Special Olympics. My goal is to raise $300 by August 31, 2020. I am pairing this effort with a personal pursuit to run 150 miles by August 31, 2020 or approximately 20 miles a week at $2 a mile. This effort is also a personal motive to run for something that is greater than myself. Any contribution you can make would be greatly appreciated - even if it’s just $2. Please select this link to contribute directly to the Special Olympics. In the event that I do not reach my fund raising goal, I will contribute my full goal amount by August 31, 2020. Thank you for your consideration.
I was first introduced to Special Olympics at a young age tagging along with my brother Jeff to his basketball practices at the old Boston College Plex. Now as a Senior at BC and a member of BC’s own Special Olympics team, my relationship with the organization has come full circle. Throughout my life, I have been lucky enough to witness firsthand the joy and happiness S.O. brings to people with intellectual or physical disabilities. If you know me or Jeff in any way I have no doubt you understand how important of an impact it has had on both of our lives. For my 22nd birthday this year please consider donating to the Special Olympics in our honor. No amount is too small and I will be matching each donation made!
Hello! Our names are Natalia and Kenna and we are organizing a 5K run. All the money raised will be donated to the Special Olympics. We both love sports and staying active and hope to help others have this opportunity. If you are a sponsor for a runner participating in the Fall 5K or just someone who wants to contribute, please put all donations into this account. Thank you for supporting this cause and the runners.
Chris and I both spent time in special needs organizations in high school and we'd love any opportunity to continue to give back!

We are choosing to raise money for the Special Olympics in honor of our brother and sister, Ben and Caitlyn, who have participated in and benefited from Special Olympics.

In lieu of birthday gifts, Enzo has chosen to donate to the Special Olympics in honor of his friend's grandfather who recently passed away. Thank you for your support!
Classmates, Here is one of the causes that were listed in Kenny's obituary for donations. I'm hoping you will join me in giving to Kenny's memory from Central's Class of 1974. No amount is too small, it's the thought that counts. Kenny always went above and beyond for the class and gave hours of his time in planning several reunions. He was always the first to put forth funds to help make sure our reunions were successful. Let's show this guy who would gave so much to this class and would give you the shirt off his back that he meant a lot to the Class of 1974, please give what you can. Thank you in advance,
Fellow Coaches, Please join me and the rest of the ChalkWar family in supporting our weekly charity selection, The Special Olympics. As always, none of the coaches participating or myself turn any kind of profit with the show... and there is no fee to view/participate. All I would ask is that you consider making a small donation each night you view this week. We appreciate your consideration! Matt Arrufat San Antonio Brennan

PDA & Special Olympics NJ Soccer Marathon 2022 Please donate and help the Special Olympics New Jersey get one more athlete onto the playing field. For every person with ID helped, there are 13 others in the U.S. waiting on the sidelines to get in the game. Will you give them a chance? "Special Olympics gives people with intellectual disabilities (ID) the confidence they need to succeed, on and off the playing field."
