Thankful for all you sports fans! What I love about my page is that no matter who you are, what you look like, or how you think, we all share a love for sports. I decided to set up the donations to go to Special Olympics because this group of athletes is often not represented as much and needs more support. With your donation, an athlete will be able to break through stereotypes and achieve their own goals on the field. Many athletes are still waiting for that chance but these donations will allow more and more to hop on the field. ANYTHING helps! Thank you!

As I leave for the Naval Academy, I want to invite friends and family to donate to a cause I've always felt inclined to support... The Special Olympics. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the athletes of the Special Olympics and those with the Special Olympics in their dreams. I would love to see more equity between the Special Olympics and mainstream Olympics in my lifetime. In memoriam of Leslie Raber, I wanted to create a way to celebrate her legacy with a fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics. This organization was a big part of Leslie's life. She was crowned Miss Special Olympics in 1982, as well as, she participated in the International Special Olympics games. Leslie loved sports and to name a few, she participated in gymnastics, hockey, skiing and tennis. Leslie touched all of our lives and may her spirit live within in us. Love you Leslie!
