Hello,We are Christian and Lourdes parents of Alicia Lucía Alicia is about to turn 1 year old. We want to celebrate by helping others just like you all have helped us this whole year in every step of this fantastic journey, and also because we want to save this memory in our hearts and our minds, to show Alicia Lucia in a couple of years how easy and how gratifying is to give instead of receiving.Alicia is a very blessed baby girl and we have no doubt that she will continue receiving blessings every day of her life; to this day we can say for sure that she is not missing anything, not food, shelter, clothes, etc.We dream of teaching Alicia Lucía how to be an inclusive little woman, to see everyone as her equal, and so she can help others to be the same way, that's why we chose Special Olympics to be our fundraising. the best gift you can give Alicia in her first year is to contribute to this fundraiser and be part of this memory that will last forever.Thank you.Amaya Aguilar Family! ¡GRACIAS! Familia Amaya Aguilar!

A group of Grand Valley State University students and I are collecting donations to allow all deserving Special Olympics basketball teams to attend the local District 11 tournament. This program will enable athletes to compete in Unified team play. Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities to compete together on the same team. Every year teams are left out due to financial restrictions; thus, members of Special Olympics are missing out on valuable life experiences. Your donation will help fund a team in need to attend the final tournament in future years. If you would like to donate, you can click the link below!

I was first introduced to Special Olympics at a young age tagging along with my brother Jeff to his basketball practices at the old Boston College Plex. Now as a Senior at BC and a member of BC’s own Special Olympics team, my relationship with the organization has come full circle. Throughout my life, I have been lucky enough to witness firsthand the joy and happiness S.O. brings to people with intellectual or physical disabilities. If you know me or Jeff in any way I have no doubt you understand how important of an impact it has had on both of our lives. For my 22nd birthday this year please consider donating to the Special Olympics in our honor. No amount is too small and I will be matching each donation made!
Dear Wedding Guests, The Special Olympics hold special meaning for our family, as Andy's cousin JJ is a special olympian! Thank you for considering making a gift to Special Olympics of Washington State, as a wedding gift to us. We are so grateful. With love, Andy & Waihay

After creating our WCIH sports magazine which mostly focused on Sports Day, we are now raising money for Special Olympics! At Wellington, we are a kind and inclusive community, and Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. This is a great cause which can help to create a better world for all.
Hello, my name is Andrew Ryan and I am the Philanthropy Chair at the Chi Deuteron chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa. The Special Olympics is very important to our chapter and our goal is to raise $3,000 for them. Everybody should get the opportunity to get involved with athletics, and the Special Olympics does amazing work bringing this opportunity to people with intellectual disabilities.

Please, help me to celebrate my birthday by supporting Special Olympics! - It's essential for Diverse Learner students, as well as for adults, to work at improved physical fitness, and to have fun while participating in Sports! - Special Olympics provides well-rounded opportunities for social-emotional and physical growth. - For many years, I've been a SpEd Teacher, and it has always given me great joy see see my students excel in all areas of academic life and to build their confidence through fun sports activities, too!
This fundraiser is in the memory of William (Bill) Ryan. He loved coaching Special Olympics and made every athlete feel like a champion.
Each year for my birthday, I like to take on a fun challenge or plan a big outdoor adventure. This year I have decided to do a 12 hour race called Jackrabbit Jubilee. Since it’s pretty dang hot in Arizona in August, the race runs through the night, starting at 7pm and ending at 7am. You run as much as you can or want to in 12 hours on a short 1/2 mile loop course, stopping as needed to eat or rest. My primary goal is to run at least 34 miles to celebrate 34 years. Once past that distance I will shoot for 40 which would be my longest distance yet. Heck if that feels good we’ll go for 50. This kind of race is a huge challenge for me, I hate repetition. And birthdays are pretty arbitrary, they don’t motivate me that much. So I’ve decided that I’ll do it in support of Special Olympics. Please support me and help me raise $3400 on my 34th birthday. Why Special Olympics? My brother Joe loves sports, playing and watching them. Special Olympics has made it possible for him to be an athlete, experience team sports, and find friends to play basketball, soccer, bowling and more with. Everyone deserves to be an athlete, special olympics makes that possible. Help me support what they do by donating and sharing with friends to help get to $3400.

Hi Friends & Family! I wanted to get involved with giving back to the community, so together with a couple of my work friends, we've joined forces to participate in the Wheaton Hot Cider Hustle 5k Fun Walk on Saturday, October 29 . We are raising money for the Special Olympics, a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition for athletes and young athletes with disabilities. This is especially dear to me because I believe in supporting community programs for people with disabilities, whether physical or intellectual or mental, seen and unseen, disclosed or undisclosed. You probably know someone that is living with a disability and they are in need of some type of support. Special Olympics programs enhance physical fitness, motor skills, self-confidence, social skills and encourage family and community support. If my team, The Good Witches, meets or exceeds our fundraising goals, we can apply for a fundraising grant through our company foundation to match our contributions. I hope you'll donate to our cause! No donation is too small! Thank you for all your support! Event info: https://allcommunityevents.com/hotciderhustle
