I've chosen to raise funds specifically for the Missouri Special Olympics because of its profound impact on the local community. With over 17,000 athletes across the state, the Missouri Special Olympics provides crucial support and opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, fostering inclusion and empowerment. Statistics reveal that nearly 40% of Missourians have a disability, highlighting the importance of organizations like the Special Olympics in creating a more inclusive society.By supporting the Missouri Special Olympics, I'm directly contributing to programs that enhance the lives of athletes, their families, and communities throughout the state. Through sports, training, and competitions, the Special Olympics promotes physical fitness, self-confidence, and social skills among participants. In Lieu of flowers we'd like to raise some money for a great cause. My dad loved all types of sports and we think the Special Olympics embodies a lot of what my dad believed in. Whatever you can donate would be appreciated. Thank you for your support.

It's what my older sister who passed away and one of her wishes was to donate money to the special Olympics because she loved people and she loved to help special people. So in her memory I want to fulfill her wish.
