My education through College was in Special Education so I spent several years being a Special Ed teacher and then volunteering one on one with Special Needs Children. I believe that the “Special Olympics” is a beautiful opportunity for special needs children to feel success and be a part of a team! This is a cause near and dear to my heart.

Jennifer spent her life as a caring and nurturing person who never expected anything in return. She worked as a functional academics teacher aid at Harrison Hill elementary and before becoming ill she did respite care for Noble of Indiana. I ask that you donate to Special Olympics, an organization that our family believes in whole heartedly, so she can continue to give.

"Community Sundays" continue in August! We are coming together during the pandemic to dance while helping causes important to our community! In the month of August we will dance to support the good work of the Special Olympics. Genevieve and guest host Andrea both work in pediatrics and take a particular interest in this cause and their mission to foster acceptance and inclusion of ALL people. I have a compassion and an empathy for those with disabilities and their families. I believe in the power of sport to transcend difficulty and limitation by providing joy and unity. I have setup this fundraiser for the Special Olympics. My goal is to raise $300 by August 31, 2020. I am pairing this effort with a personal pursuit to run 150 miles by August 31, 2020 or approximately 20 miles a week at $2 a mile. This effort is also a personal motive to run for something that is greater than myself. Any contribution you can make would be greatly appreciated - even if it’s just $2.
