Hello everyone my name is the struggle and I'm doing this because well let me tell you in February of this year I was part of the Polar Plunge where I go head-first into a hot tub full of ice water in a Jason Voorhees Halloween costume with a clown nose on out of the handful of groups in the state of Oklahoma who did this we raised over $100,000 and made the news this was such an amazing feeling I felt so accomplished without doing anything other than what I would do on any other normal day I had to orchestrate something like this it's such a great thing to be able to give and music well it's a very giving thing so if you just curious about what I'm doing this well there you have it if you want to donate here's your chance
I support Special Olympics for my brother, Joshua, who has Cerebral Palsy. He has been involved with Special Olympics for nearly 30 years as an athlete in track, bowling and swimming. He will represent Special Olympics USA this June in the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany, competing in bowling. Josh is not only my baby brother but he also got the voice in the family and is a very talented singer and has performed the United States national anthem at a United States Embassy event hosted in the Philippines and at the opening ceremony for the summer games in South Carolina where the local news featured him in their broadcast. The phrase, “be brave in the attempt,” of the Special Olympics athlete oath has changed Josh’s life, reminding him that his disabilities are also his greatest strengths. This is an amazing organization and I am very proud to support it, along with my family. Please consider donating to help all of these wonderful people " be brave in the attempt".

On June 26, 2019, Rick Lawrence, APF Chairman for the State of Florida passed suddenly. He was involved in the Powerlifting community for many years. In October of 2018, it was announced that in April of 2019, AAPF Nationals was including a Special Olympics division in which was held in Myrtle Beach, SC. Approximately, 8 athletes competed both in the AAPF Nationals and the AWPC Worlds held in April and August of 2019. As these lifters were on that platform lifting their hearts out, Rick was at center of attention cheering them on. This was one of the best things that could have happened to the APF/AAPF. This is a fundraiser to help these Special athletes achieve their dreams in Rick's honor.

We are Colm O'Connor, Bryce Stevenson, and Clay Weaver and we are students at Severna Park High School SPHS. We are members of the leadership institute at SPHS and are currently in the undertaking of our senior year project Making a Difference Through Special Olympics. The goal of our project is to promote Unified Sports at SPHS and raise money for the Special Olympics so that every athlete has an equal chance to compete and have fun in athletics. We hope you help us create a better future for athletes with special needs, one dollar at a time.

Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. These athletes inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential. Help us, help them!

In Loving Memory if Jordan Lee Ruark I have been asked if we were taking donations and our family would love it if you would donate to the Special Olympics instead. Jordan loves the Special Olympics and it was something that he always looked forward to doing. His favorite sport was Track. He was the fastest runner I knew and now he has run into the arms of Jesus.

Since 1968, Special Olympics has offered a place of teamwork, leadership, and competition for those of us who struggle with intellectual disabilities. The organization works to bring a better, more inclusive tomorrow. At CSC, we too hope to bring about change in a positive way, and are often greeted with opportunities like this one to give back and make a difference. Through the power of sport, Special Olympics hopes to instill joy and confidence into each of the 200 million people who live with intellectual disabilities, while also encouraging physical fitness and good health. Please consider making a donation to support the tremendous strides Special Olympics continues to make toward a more accepting, inclusive world.
Special Olympics is an excellent organization that values the importance of leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, and competition. At CSC, we work to build a brighter tomorrow through our five core competencies: Service, Teamwork, Tenacity, Genuine, and Agility. ....
Curtis Bickham My daughter has Down Syndrome, I'm hoping one day she will participate in the Special Olympics. I designed this shirt to help support the current athletes. The shirt changes graphics as it gets wet. I think it would be a perfect addition to the Polar Plunge.

It is that time of the year where we want to give back to the community in any way that we can! All of the donations go 100% to the Special Olympics organization!
