Dale Grabill had a great time in her life participating in the special olympics. She especially loved the swimming and bowling. Overall, she was a social butterfly and loved being around people. We humbly as for any donation to continue her passion, and pass opportunities on to other individuals with special needs.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to honor our son, Dave Engle, who recently passed away. Dave was always an advocate for the disabled and he often volunteered at Special Olympic Events in Maryland, as a student at Virginia Tech, and as a volunteer in Phoenix. Pictured above is Dave with his cousin Nathan who was a Special Olympics Softball Player in Maryland. We are hosting a basketball knockout tournament at Yale to raise money for Special Olympics! Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a range of Olympic-type sports for over 5 million children and adults with intellectual disabilities around the world. Special Olympics allows athletes of all abilities to be leaders on their teams, compete for gold, and have fun with their friends. We want to celebrate everyone's participation in sports by supporting Special Olympics' mission of inclusion and acceptance through our own tournament!
