In 2010, I was diagnosed with stage IV head and neck cancer and a passionate and dedicated group of friends helped me to create David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation. Since 2011 and thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many, we have been able to provide over $1.5 Million dollars in direct financial aid to 1,700 patients and their families battling a cancer diagnosis. Please support me as I run the historic Long Beach Island 18 Mile Run on Sunday October 11, 2020. The Jersey Girl triathlon has always been a race that has positively impacted my life. This will be my third time competing. This year the challenge of racing is even more meaningful to me as I dedicate my training to the patients of David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation. I am currently only able to run 2 miles. Each step of my progression and training will be motivated by those that are fighting cancer each day.
