There’s lots of ways you can spend your money that do good for a lot of people. This is a way to donate your hard earned money for those truly in need by way of the American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation. The V&CF provides grants for military families who are facing financial distress and funds the training and education of 3,000 accredited American Legion service officers who volunteer to help them apply for their government benefits. The challenge is to walk, run, or ride 100 miles between March 1st and September 5th. I intend to ride 500 miles within that timeframe. Please donate what you can. The American Legion was founded on four pillars and this touches on all of them.
