Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is off to a good start. For over 40 years, Camp Good Days and Special Times has made a difference in the lives of children dealing with cancer. The time campers spend on Keuka Lake gives them a chance to be a kid again, to enjoy life, and hopefully forget for a few minutes what they may be dealing with. I ask for your support as I attempt to ride 45 miles around Keuka Lake tomorrow to raise funds for those that attend Camp Good Days and Special Times. All proceeds from the ride go directly towards the programs and services that Camp Good Days offers to children and families impacted by cancer or sickle cell anemia. Dear Friends & Family, I am preparing to participate in a bicycle riding fundraiser for Camp Good Days, the Tour de Teddi on Saturday, September 10th. For those of you who may be unaware, Camp Good Days provides summer camp experiences and year round programming for children, adults and families whose lives have been impacted by cancer. The first Tour de Teddi took place over 30 years ago and has had over 50,000 campers and is completely free of charge. The name Teddi arises from the founder’s daughter who at the age of nine was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor Elizabeth "Teddi" Mervis. I will be riding 45 miles around Keuka Lake and this year I’m particularly excited to have my son and daughter join me in the charity ride. I have been participating in the event for approximately six years and this year decided to create a fundraising page as a means to further help the camp.
