Help Team Iowa Farm Sanctuary take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. We’re all in this together as a team! You can help encourage others by printing our team bib, posting on social media with the #TheGoatGames2022, and showing all the fun and creative ways that you’re going for the gold! Meet IFS Team Captain Pickle! Pickle is an itty bitty goat with a gigantic spirit who came to IFS with rear limb paresis when she was just a few days old -- she was small enough to be mistaken for a kitten! Since welcoming Pickle in January 2021, she has made incredible progress. You'd never even know she had mobility difficulties when she was a baby! She overcame all odds and now has full use of all of her legs. Nowadays, Pickle is a happy, curious, and energetic little soul. She always has important business to attend to. If she pauses to give you a few moments of her time, you’re very fortunate—baby girl has stuff to do and places to be! She’s the most perfect Pickle in the world. IFS is Iowa's original vegan sanctuary for farmed animals. We're strategically located in the epicenter of modern animal agriculture, helping farmed animals where it is needed the most! Pickle and all of her rescued friends-- like Buddy, Annie, Fawn, and Angel are touching hearts near and far, inspiring people all around the world to act with compassion. This year is our first year participating in the Goat Games and we are ready to take home the GOLD! Our goal is to raise $25,000!!! As a sanctuary that is located in the heart of modern animal agriculture, we receive inquiries daily about farm animals in desperate need of rescue--many with special care needs like Pickle. All funds raised will help us carry out our mission of rescuing farm animals in need, as well as making sure that our current residents are living the dream! Join the dream team and swim, run, walk or bike! Pickle is READY to parkour her way to victory! About Iowa Farm Sanctuary At Iowa Farm Sanctuary, we provide a safe haven to rescued farm animals in need of love and compassion while providing humans the opportunity to experience the unique sentience and intelligence found within these animals.

Catskill Animal Sanctuary

Hey friends and loved ones! Please help me raise critical funds for Catskill Animal Sanctuary -- my little piece of paradise on earth and workplace for the past 13 years -- and the precious souls who call this place home. This August 12 to 15, I'll be hoofin' and mooooovin' it -- hiking around the Hudson Valley -- and I'd be so grateful for your support. No gift is too small, and all funds raised will go to the care of the sanctuary's 250+ animals! You can also join the fun by registering as an athlete yourself and getting your network to donate in your honor. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity! It means so much to me. ***About the Sanctuary: Catskill Animal Sanctuary is a 150-acre refuge in New York’s Hudson Valley for 11 species of farmed animals rescued from cruelty, neglect and other dire circumstances. In addition to emergency rescue, the Sanctuary ignites social change to end the exploitation of farmed animals, and champions vegan living through innovative educational programs.

Hello! I’m taking part in the 2022 Goat Games from Friday, August 12th through Monday, August 15th to help rescued farmed animals! The Goat Games is a virtual fundraiser for 13 animal sanctuaries across the country, and you can be a champion right where you live, work and play. This year, I've decided to raise $400 to mark 4 years since I started as an intern at CAS during college! 4 is truly the magic number this year - I pledge to attend 4 spin classes over the 4 days of the Goat Games. You can find me at The Revolution spin studio in Albany working hard to help support the animals! Thank you so much for considering a donation. The Goat Games are an excellent way to get everyone involved for the animals, and I am thrilled to be participating again!

A race to save our sanctuary! This year's Goat Games is hugely important to Wildwood! We have to move from our current location and need funding to purchase or lease a new property. If we're able to secure a new home for our beloved animals, we'll consider that the biggest win of all. If we can't, your support will help us move our animals safely to new sanctuaries where they'll continue to be loved and cared for. Either way, we're counting on you to help us get through this enormous challenge! Now, onto the fun... Our 2022 team captain, Orin, is both an athlete and an inspiring leader. At 14 years of age, he's definitely the senior team captain of our goat herd here at Wildwood. He keeps everyone in line! He has the sweetest personality and is still very agile! He is taking his new job very seriously and demanding excellence from the team – no ifs, ands or buts about it. Well, maybe a few butts. Most of the animals at Wildwood had a pretty rough start in life. Many were rescued from factory farms, terrible abuse and neglect. Now, surrounded by love and good friends, they are free to be their sweet, sensitive, silly selves. Nothing makes the humans here happier than to see them engage in shenanigans and hijinks. About Wildwood Farm Sanctuary & Preserve Wildwood Farm Sanctuary & Preserve is an accredited, 501c3 farm animal sanctuary currently located in Newberg, Oregon. We are BFF team Miss Lily Pie and Dominic and we are in it to win it! We're going to be swimming all day, every day leading up to The Goat Games, 'cause it's our favorite thing to do! Not only is swimming fun, but it keeps us nice and cool during the summer! Did you know we love mud because it's just like sunscreen for us? No sunburn happening here! We've been best friends since the day we met at Indraloka, many years ago. We spend almost all of our time together, whether we are swimming, napping, or snacking! If you see one of us, chances are the other one isn't too far away! We watched Mira have so much fun as the Goat Games team captain last year so we knew we just had to get involved! What better way to get active and have fun than with your best friend? Will you join our team and help us raise $500 for the Goat Games this year? Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! From t-shirts, to hoodies, tank tops, long-sleeves, football jerseys and more! Choose your color and get your team shirt today. Thank you for joining Team Indraloka! The sanctuary provides "heaven on earth" for farm animals that have nowhere else to turn. Our mission is to inform, inspire and empower the community, especially children, on ways in which we can better care for ourselves and the environment while helping animals in need. We advocate for a kind and compassionate lifestyle that protects animals, the earth, and our own health. By participating in the Goat Games you are helping not only the hundreds of rescued farm animals and all who love and care for them, but the thousands of humans who visit them every year! Through our innovative education programs, humans of all ages have the chance to embrace compassion and fall in love with animals like Franklin, our 2022 Goat Games Captain. Franklin was found alone on a busy highway on New Year's Eve. When he was brought to Indraloka, his complete terror of humans kept him on high alert. He wouldn't even lay down to sleep and shook with fright whenever anyone was close. He was weak, fighting pneumonia and a double eye infection that was so severe, it temporarily blinded him. But after just days in the care of our staff, surrounded by love and gentle hands, Franklin's fear lessened and then disappeared completely. Now, he spends his days with 2 new friends, Oreo and Oliver, running in the pastures and playing with no cares at all. His mischievous personality keeps us all on our toes but he loves hugs and snuggles from visitors. By joining Team Indraloka, you have the opportunity to help goats like Franklin and his many friends of all species. Here’s how it works: Register as an athlete for Team Indraloka and commit to run, walk, hike, bike, swim, or do an activity of your choice, anytime between Friday, August 12 through Monday, August 15, 2022. Share your support with friends and family to raise funds for Indraloka. Donate to Indraloka! You can make a general donation to our Goat Games page or find an athlete to support. Either way, you’re making a difference for Franklin and his friends. However you choose to support the Goat Games, please know that your generosity is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your commitment to the animals!

The jury is still out, but we're encouraging Ruby to reach for the stars in these Olym-pigs! Ruby arrived at Heartwood Haven unable to walk, but with a lot of love, care, and the power of sanctuary Ruby is not only walking, but she is the swimming queen and the greatest Piggygator of all time! About Heartwood Haven Heartwood Haven is located in a park-like setting in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We are on a mission to end animal cruelty against farmed animals. We primarily work with local animal control to rescue animals from cruelty and abuse cases. These animals are typically former cock-fighting roosters and pigs. Through our successful adoption program, we save hundreds of animals every year. In addition to our rescue work, we also fight for a more compassionate world through our education and advocacy programs. Indraloka Animal Sanctuary

My name is Mazor Ner Tamid, or Mazzie for short! You may have seen me around Indraloka, hanging out with my best friend, Chandra. I wasn't sure that I could join the Goat Games, but with his encouragement, I decided to sign up! You see, my back leg doesn't work too well. When I was little, I wasn't looked after very well, but I was rescued and brought to Indraloka with a few other friends. However, something hurt my spine really bad, and I wasn't able to walk on one of my back legs. The nice people at the sanctuary though, they never gave up on me! They got me a wheelchair and helped me learn how to walk again! My back leg still doesn't work well, but I've learned to get around just fine with only three legs! I didn't know what kind of activity I could do for the Goat Games since I have trouble walking sometimes, but walking IS the perfect activity for me! I wanted to join to help encourage everyone else that, even if you can't do physical activities like bike riding or running, you can still be a Goat Games athlete! So, that's what I'm doing! I hope I can inspire someone who didn't think they could join to sign up to do an activity that's perfect for them! I have a goal to raise $400 for the Goat Games, and I know I can do it! I need your help, though! Will you join my team to help me reach my goal and remind others with mobility challenges that they can do ANYTHING they set their mind to? Help Team Indraloka take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals!

If you can run, walk, jog, or swim you can join us for the fun -- either with friends and family, or on your own in your backyard or take to the streets - this is a fun way to get outside and have fun while helping raise money for this important fundraiser. As we start our 5th year Little Bear Sanctuary has rescued over 200 farm animals, each one facing an incredibly bleak future if we hadn't intervened. While a lot has changed from the start, Little Bear Sanctuary's mission has remained unwavering: to provide a permanent home for animals in need where they can live their best lives. The funds for this year's Goat Games will be used for the major increase in the monthly overhead required to operate, feed, and house our 200 residents. We're excited for another fun year, and we can’t wait to see the amazing things our athletes and donors will do! Love and gratitude from all of us at Little Bear Sanctuary! I’ll be mooooo-ving to raise money for my favorite sanctuary and I’m asking for the support of friends and family to help me reach my goal! You can help me get the GOLD for animals by sending a gift through the “Support by Donating” button on this page. No contribution is too small, and every dollar you give will go towards providing safety, dignity, and love to farmed animals in need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity — and for making the world a more compassionate place for animals!

Help Team Farmaste take home the gold! Team Captain Kristen wants YOU to join Team Farmaste! Kristen is the most senior, spunkiest goat at the sanctuary. With 12 years of experience under her belt, we know she will gladly lead our team to victory. Hooray for Captain Kristen! Become an athlete and raise donations for Team Farmaste or donate to an athlete you know! All donations raised have a huge impact! Thank you for supporting the goats of Farmaste: Kristen, Willow, Iggy, Blossom, Buffy and Otis! Stay tuned for details about our special sanctuary event to celebrate The Goat Games! About Farmaste Animal Sanctuary At Farmaste Animal Sanctuary we believe that all animals have inherent worth, and that farm animals are not an exception to that rule. We rescue abused, neglected and unwanted farm animals and bring them to our 30-acre farm in Lindstrom, MN. There they are allowed to roam in the pastures, and live out their days free from cruelty.
