Led by Team Captain Shrek, help Team Little Bear take home the gold! I am climbing on my bike again this year! My goal from August 12th-14th is to climb 8,500 vertical feet (probably over 45 miles mountain biking up and down hills :) ). Please carry the torch for me and Team Little Bear as a donor. YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. Wear Your Team Show your support for Little Bear Sanctuary by repping our official Goat Games team shirt! 100% of all proceeds go directly to our sanctuary! From t-shirts, to hoodies, tank tops, long-sleeves, football jerseys and more! Choose your color and get your team shirt today. Shrek was our good luck leader for 2021 so we're going to stick with him as our boss goat for the Goat Games 2022. Shrek is the leader of our goat family of twelve. Even though he's the smallest (pygmy), he has the biggest personality. He's the first to greet visitors and demands attention, i.e. endless rubs and kisses! We rescued him right here in SW Florida and he has been an inspiration to everyone who meets him. He embodies the mission of our sanctuary - acceptance, love, and endless snuggles. As we start our 5th year, Little Bear Sanctuary has rescued over 200 farm animals, each one facing an incredibly bleak future if we hadn't intervened. While a lot has changed from the start, Little Bear Sanctuary's mission has remained unwavering: to provide a permanent home for animals in need where they can live their best lives. The funds for this year's Goat Games will be used for the major increase in the monthly overhead required to operate, feed, and house our 200 residents. We're excited for another fun year, and we can’t wait to see the amazing things our athletes and donors will do! Love and gratitude from all of us at Little Bear Sanctuary! Special In-Person Event: Opening Ceremonies on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 5 PM to 10 PM at Millennial Brewing in Fort Myers, Florida – A percentage of sales from this event will be donated to our team. Stop by our booth and say hello! About Little Bear Sanctuary Little Bear Sanctuary rescues animals in need and gives them a permanent home at the sanctuary where they can live out their best lives. It's that time again! Goat Games are on! In 2021, with your support, I took home the gold for the second year in a row! Please help me defend my title for an unprecedented three-peat! In 2022, I'm pledging to walk 30 miles and I'm once again attempting a goal of $5000! To meet this goal, I'm pledging to walk 4.5 MILES PER DAY in this ridiculous heat. I'll bake and sweat to help the 300 animals who call Catskill Animal Sanctuary home. I'm happy to do my part, but I need your help! If you'd rather not deal with the credit card form, you can Venmo your donation to me directly (ID: MichaelVenzor) and I'll transfer the funds to the sanctuary. Please put "Goat Games" in the "What's it for?" text area. I hope you'll be able to contribute to this effort and help me win The Goat Games again in 2022! For the past 20 years, Catskill Animal Sanctuary has been a refuge for thousands of rescued animals. Your donation will help CAS further it's mission of love and life! Please donate today! Hello Friends! Please join me in helping Team River's Wish take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. My activity for the games will be bathing, grooming and snuggling the animals all weekend long! So much of my time is spent cleaning their spaces, doing administrative tasks and the necessary things to keep the sanctuary operating, that I truly don't get the snuggle time I yearn for. What a perfect opportunity for intentional snuggles! I hope you will consider sponsoring me as I try to raise needed funds for River's Wish. Meet Team Captain Toby! Toby’s wavy locks and sweet personality charm everyone who meets him. He and his companion Frosty moved to the sanctuary when their person passed away in the Fall of 2021. Unlike a lot of our residents, Toby has only ever known love. Unfortunately, so many that find their way to our door have suffered unimaginable abuse and neglect. For more than 25 years, River's Wish has been saving lives through rescue, education and advocacy. By treating animals as individuals and expressing both their wonder and plight through art, we foster empathy and understanding that leads to compassionate life choices. With Goat Games, we are raising money for our future, right alongside Captain Toby and all his friends at River's Wish. Will YOU go for the gold as we strive to raise $20,000 for the care and feeding of our residents? As a sanctuary serving the Inland Northwest for more than 25 years, we are home to a large senior population who require special care and interventions. Your generosity goes a long way to providing the love and comfort all our residents deserve. About River's Wish Animal Sanctuary River's Wish Animal Sanctuary saves lives through rescue, education, and advocacy. By treating animals as individuals and expressing both their wonder and plight through art, we foster empathy and understanding that leads to compassionate life choices. Named for our beloved dog River, who changed us forever, the sanctuary is committed to making a positive difference for all sentient beings.

This year's Goat Games is hugely important to Wildwood! We have to move from our current location and need funding to purchase a new one. A generous donor has already committed a substantial amount for a new property; we’re committed to raising the rest. Please join the Goat Games as an athlete, sponsor or donor and help us secure a new sanctuary for all our beloved residents. And now, onto the fun... Our 2022 team captain, Orin, is both an athlete and an inspiring leader. At 14 years of age, he's definitely the senior team captain of our goat herd here at Wildwood. He keeps everyone in line! He has the sweetest personality and is still very agile! He is taking his new job very seriously and demanding excellence from the team – no ifs, ands or buts about it. Well, maybe a few butts. Most of the animals at Wildwood had a pretty rough start in life. Many were rescued from factory farms, terrible abuse and neglect. Now, surrounded by love and good friends, they are free to be their sweet, sensitive, silly selves. Nothing makes the humans here happier than to see them engage in shenanigans and hijinks. About Wildwood Farm Sanctuary & Preserve Wildwood Farm Sanctuary & Preserve is an accredited, 501c3 farm animal sanctuary currently located in Newberg, Oregon. Since 2012, we have provided a safe haven for abused and abandoned farmed animals. We are looking for a new property to continue our mission of promoting compassion and inspiring change.

Hi everyone! I'm running 15 miles over the 4 days of the goat games this year. That's a little more per day than last year! In return, I'm hoping to raise $1500. Yes, that's right, $100 per mile. I think we can all agree that's a very reasonable offer so please pay up! And as a bonus I offer you these cute animal pictures: Led by Team Captain Ponty, help Team Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge and take home the gold! Join as an athlete who raises money OR you can carry the torch as a donor. Either way, YOU are a champion for the animals! Be sure to spread the word to your friends, family and co-workers so they can get in on the fun! Everything you need to know about The Goat Games can be found here in the FAQs. We’re all in this together as a team! You can help encourage others by printing our team bib, posting on social media with the #TheGoatGames2022, and showing all the fun and creative ways that you’re going for the gold! Ponty came to us after being abandoned and trying to survive in a mobile home in rural North Carolina that was collapsing around him. Even though he is one of our tallest goats, he came to us over 40 pounds underweight, starving and scared with little trust for humans. Today, he is thriving at the Refuge -- he is the largest goat in his herd and is a favorite among Tour guests. The Refuge provides lifelong care to rescued farm animals, educates people about the realities of animal agriculture, and promotes veganism by offering knowledge, support, and community. Founded in 2012, the Refuge has been providing lifelong homes for rescued farm animals for 10 years and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in central North Carolina. We are thrilled to participate in the 2022 Goat Games as we are currently raising funds for general use in support of our recent expansion and future animal rescues! At the beginning of 2021, we were presented with the exciting opportunity to purchase an adjacent lot that has more than doubled our size, from 20 to 45 acres! We have various projects planned for this new land, such as building a perimeter fence, removing and/or restoring the existing structures on the property and making the area suitable for rescued farmed animals. These funds will be vital to beginning these projects and ultimately, completing these goals. Ponty was severely malnourished and lived in a dilapidated shack in the woods before he was rescued. Your donations will also help support food and medical care for current and future animal residents, including new cow rescues! We currently spend over $6000/month on food and veterinary expenses alone for our chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, sheep and goats, so these contributions will also go a long way in helping us continue to provide lifelong homes for animals in need. Thank you so much for your contribution. Your support of our life-saving mission is vital. We are so grateful to have you with us on this journey to make the world a more loving and compassionate place for all beings! "Ponty's Journey"by Shannon Ducrest, Lead Animal Caregiver In an old trailer, Back in the woods, Ponty the goat did stay. Scared and alone, His tummy did groan, Hungrier every day. I joined Wildwood in 2019, and am so grateful I found this little slice of heaven, it has truly changed my life forever! Please join me in raising money to purchase a permanent, dedicated location for our sanctuary, and ensuring a lifelong home for our 90 residents. I am pledging to get a minimum of 10K steps each of the days, whether it’s from walking, hiking, or taking care of the sanctuary residents! I will also be participating in our onsite Goat Games, Saturday, August 13th! Team Wildwood is in it to win it! We’re counting on you to help us bring home the gold at the third annual Goat Games! Whatever sport you choose to do, be it running, hiking, biking or binging your favorite show, you’ll be raising much-needed funds for all the animals at Wildwood. A race to save our sanctuary! This year's Goat Games is hugely important to Wildwood! We have to move from our current location and need funding to purchase or lease a new property. If we're able to secure a new home for our beloved animals, we'll consider that the biggest win of all. If we can't, your support will help us move our animals safely to new sanctuaries where they'll continue to be loved and cared for. Either way, we're counting on you to help us get through this enormous challenge! Now, onto the fun... My name is Finnegan and I am a tiny bunny with a BIG heart, literally! That’s what my doctors said when they diagnosed me with an enlarged heart. My prognosis wasn’t good, but I have shown everyone what a determined little rabbit I am. I have defied all odds for 2.5 years and today I am a happy bundle of energy. My heart condition won’t slow me down. I run, jump and zoom around like the rest of them! Tiny bunnies like me are said to be feisty and off-standish, but not ME. I love everyone and everybun, and try to be friends with every new rescue bun that comes into our home. My mom says it’s because I have such a big heart. I share my home with five other adopted rescue rabbits. Four of them were rescued through Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue. Some came from a hoarding situation; others were dumped in a park to fend for themselves My mom Astrid volunteers for Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, so I hear all about all the rabbits needing rescue. The need for help never ends. Neither do the bills. And these bills add up!! That’s why my mom Astrid promised to walk 2 miles a day with the goal of raising $1000. To support Astrid’s efforts, just click on the “Support by Donating” button on our page! That will help us BRING HOME THE GOLD for Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue! This is Safe Haven's first year with the Goat Games, and we are excited to join in the fun! Hi, my name is MaryAnne. I have two very important jobs here at Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue. You see, I was abandoned, with a baby in August 2014. My first people drove down a long driveway, stopped the truck, put me and baby out and just drove away. It was so scary! Luckily, the people who lived there knew about Safe Haven. I let them catch me right away, but my little baby (Andy) was so scared he ran into the woods. It took a week, but thankfully he was caught and came to Safe Haven with me. I know, get to the important jobs.... ok, so I was adopted by Karen, the rescue’s director and I live in the main foster home with her. My regular job is “Hall Monitor!” Every morning, I run down the hall to check on the sanctuary bunnies who live just down the hall. During the Goat Games, I will also be checking on Karen to be sure she is getting on the treadmill every day to earn money for all the bunnies in the rescue. With your help of course! Karen promises to get on her treadmill every day during Goat Games week. Our goal is to raise $600 toward the team goal. I think she can do it with YOUR support!! **It is with much sorry that I share the loss of my MaryAnne. An aggressive cancer took her much too soon on August 10th, 2022. I know she is still with me in spirit. I feel her strength and courage still guiding me and know she is cheering us all on. She will live forever in my heart. My life was blessed by her companionship.

Franklin was found alone on a busy highway on New Year's Eve. When he was brought to Indraloka, his complete terror of humans kept him on high alert. He wouldn't even lay down to sleep and shook with fright whenever anyone was close. He was weak, fighting pneumonia and a double eye infection that was so severe, it temporarily blinded him. But after just days in the care of our staff, surrounded by love and gentle hands, Franklin's fear lessened and then disappeared completely. Franklin has taught me that fear can be overcome. Trust can be regained. And life is worth living to it's very full. That's why I'm raising funds to help make sure he and all of his friends have everything they need to live out their best life. Will you join me in showing Franklin that he is loved? My Goat Games activity is running--I run 10 miles every week. So, between now and the end of the Goat Games, I will run 50 miles and I'm hoping to raise $1,000. That's $20 for each mile. Would you consider sponsoring me for one of those miles? I know I have 50 friends who can help! Please will you be one of them? Or--you can join me as an athlete! Pick an activity--it can be ANYTHING! Jumping, swimming, napping! Anything you want. All rabbits are spayed/neutered, provided the best medical care available, and receive individualized attention and love of their foster families. Those rabbits who are not eligible for adoption, either due to health, age or temperament remain with us as sanctuary bunnies. Help Team CAS take home the gold! Meet Sully, the CAS Team Captain! Sully, his brother Isaac and their mom Sadie came to the Sanctuary in February 2022 after pregnant Sadie and dozens of other goats were rescued from extreme neglect. Thankfully, these precious boys will never know the hardship their mother endured before finding a second chance at happiness. They’ve known only kindness, love, and fun! Sully’s family lives with mama goat Autumn (rescued along with Sadie) and her twin baby boys Reece and Augie in a spacious field with lots of room to play and graze. Sully’s boundless energy and thirst for adventure make him the perfect team captain and those spectacular ears are going to fly Team CAS to victory and the GOLD! For the past 21 years, Catskill Animal Sanctuary has been a refuge for thousands of rescued animals Will YOU join Sully and his friends and help them raise $100,000 to take care of rescued animals for years to come?

I’m taking part in the 2022 Goat Games from Friday, August 12th through Monday, August 15th to help rescued farmed animals! The Goat Games is a virtual fundraiser for 13 animal sanctuaries across the country, and you can be a champion right where you live, work and play. I’ll be mooooo-ving to raise money for my favorite sanctuary and I’m asking for the support of friends and family to help me reach my goal! You can help me get the GOLD for animals by sending a gift through the “Support by Donating” button on this page. No contribution is too small, and every dollar you give will go towards providing safety, dignity, and love to farmed animals in need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity — and for making the world a more compassionate place for animals!
