Dear loving community, On May 6th, 2023 I will be participating for the 3rd time in a row in the Swim A Mile for Women with Cancer, and I hope you'll make a contribution in support of my participation! This event means a lot to me because the WCRC provided so much support for my mom as she endured a 25 year battle against cancer. Through support groups, healing sessions, nutrition guidance and overall community presence my mom always felt seen and held. Hiiiii Friends and Family :) I had so much fun participating in last year's Swim-A-Mile event, that I will be taking part in this year's event as well. This marks my second year and I anticipate participating in many more to come. Although I am not an experienced swimmer, I am delighted to say that I successfully completed the entire mile last year and will do so again this year. It was a heartwarming experience to share this event with others, knowing that every donation will contribute towards assisting individuals in navigating the challenges associated with their cancer diagnosis and the associated costs.
