Milo's Minions

Lacy the German Shepherd gave birth to 5 puppies the day after she arrived at our shelter - 24 hours after she was scheduled to be put down. Had Anderson Humane not intervened on her behalf, she and her unborn puppies would have been euthanized in Texas. Saturn & Haprter were flown in as part of a rescue we did with the Korean Meat Trade. Annie was one of 166 Beagles we rescued last year from Envigo - the 3rd largest Envigo rescue in the country. Mini & Hugo, two blind, special need kittens we rescued, were featured on Newsweek. In 2022, we rescued over 4500 domestic and 3000+ wild animals. But these rescues come with a big cost. When you support Walk4Animals you are also supporting: Under-resourced shelters we support in 13 other states. Seniors, homeless, veterans & victims of domestic violence whom we serve through STAR (Short Term Animal Refuge). Keeping pets with their people - seniors, the disabled, and others who need in-home assistance with their pets through our Constant Companions program. Over 900 people we served through our Healing Paws animal therapy. If you've ever benefited from the human-animal bond, please consider supporting our fundraising efforts by donating to Walk4Animals. it's what enables us to continue doing this life-saving work - for animals and people. Lacy gave birth to 5 puppies the day after she arrived at our shelter - 24 hours after she was scheduled to be put down. Had Anderson Humane not intervened on her behalf, she and her full-term, unborn puppies would have been euthanized in Texas.Saturn & Harper were flown in as part of a rescue we did with the Korean Meat Trade.Annie was one of 166 Beagles Anderson Humane rescued last year from Envigo - the 3rd largest Envigo rescue in the country.Mini & Hugo, two blind, special needs kittens we rescued, were featured in Newsweek. In 2022, we rescued over 4500 domestic and 3000+ wild animals. But these rescues come with a big cost. You know that feeling where a cat sits on your lap, curls up, and falls asleep? That's us. What about that feeling when you're laying on the floor and your dog lays on your arm and cuddles up next to you? That's us. But not actually, because that would be weird. But you get the idea.I'm fundraising for Anderson Humane because they do amazing work, and I'm inviting friends like you to support my campaign. Last year alone, Anderson had over 4,500 domestic animal adoptions. On top of that, Anderson also helps with wild animals. In 2022, Anderson saved over 3000 wild animals and they were able to rehab them and release them back into the wild. Thanks for taking a moment to check it out!
