Lacy the German Shepherd gave birth to 5 puppies the day after she arrived at our shelter - 24 hours after she was scheduled to be put down. Had Anderson Humane not intervened on her behalf, she and her unborn puppies would have been euthanized in Texas. Saturn & Haprter were flown in as part of a rescue we did with the Korean Meat Trade. Annie was one of 166 Beagles we rescued last year from Envigo - the 3rd largest Envigo rescue in the country. Mini & Hugo, two blind, special need kittens we rescued, were featured on Newsweek. In 2022, we rescued over 4500 domestic and 3000+ wild animals. But these rescues come with a big cost. When you support Walk4Animals you are also supporting: Under-resourced shelters we support in 13 other states. Seniors, homeless, veterans & victims of domestic violence whom we serve through STAR (Short Term Animal Refuge). Keeping pets with their people - seniors, the disabled, and others who need in-home assistance with their pets through our Constant Companions program. Over 900 people we served through our Healing Paws animal therapy. If you've ever benefited from the human-animal bond, please consider supporting our fundraising efforts by donating to Walk4Animals. it's what enables us to continue doing this life-saving work - for animals and people. Join Me in Supporting the Anderson Humane Walk4Animals!Hello friends,I am excited to announce that I am participating in the 8th Annual Anderson Humane Walk4Animals, and I invite you to join me in making a difference for our furry friends! As the proud owner of Belladonna Media & Marketing Group I wanted to put together a team and join a fundraiser that I personally care about and support, I am passionate about animals and the incredible work done by the Anderson Animal Shelter. This shelter holds a special place in my heart because it's where I found and rescued all my beloved family pets. Now, I want to give back and support this amazing organization. The Anderson Humane Walk4Animals is an opportunity to lace up our walking shoes, raise funds, and help the Anderson Humane. This year they already have helped over 4,000 pets and have provided vital care for 3,000 injured and orphaned wild animals along the way. With every step we take, we are giving these animals a second chance at life. This fundraiser's dollars go directly to their mission!I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have already donated to this worthy cause. Your generosity is making a significant impact and bringing hope to animals in need. I am truly humbled by your support.By making a donation, you'll be directly helping animals find forever homes, receive medical care, and have a chance at a better future.Together, let's create lasting change and give these animals the love and care they deserve. Your support, whether through joining the walk or making a donation, means the world to me and the animals we are helping.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, compassion, and commitment to making the world a better place for our furry companions. With Gratitude,Alyssa SmithOwner of Belladonna Media & Marketing Group
