My 40th birthday is this month! While I am excited to celebrate 40 years of life surrounded by loving friends and family, unfortunately that sentiment is not shared with many children in foster care. The children who Place of Hope is serving on a daily basis have suffered heinous child abuse and neglect, homelessness, exploitation and human trafficking. They have not felt the love and warmth of a family, they haven't celebrated their birthdays. Instead of feeling loved by their parents, they feel abandoned. Sibling groups are often separated, so even on their birthdays they aren't with their brothers or sisters. Youth aging out of foster care become homeless over night on their 18th birthday if they do not have a plan in place or a support system. For those blessed enough to come through the doors at Place of Hope, all of that changes. We prioritize family, sibling groups and hope for a brighter future. We celebrate milestones from birthdays to graduations. We demonstrate love and walk with them through their struggles. We are setting them up for success with tools and resources, with confidence and self-worth.My goal is to raise $5,000 for the children and youth who are blessed to have found a home and family at Place of Hope.
Champions for Children candidates compete to raise the most funds in honor of a local foster youth who have been victims to child abuse, neglect homelessness, exploitation and human trafficking. Every dollar raised helps provide hope for the hopeless, a home for the homeless, and healing for the hurting.

I am fundraising for Carter a 10 years old. He loves to be outdoors, specifically playing basketball on the courts with the other boys in the neighborhood. He enjoys swimming and playing video games. His foster parents say that he is a sweet, active boy! Every dollar raised helps provide hope for the hopeless, a home for the homeless, and healing for the hurting.

Aiden is a 7 year old boy who is in foster care due to abandonment. His foster parents say that he is a little shy and he LOVES Legos and building huge towers! He is adjusting well to the family style setting in his cottage. Every dollar raised helps provide hope for the hopeless, a home for the homeless, and healing for the hurting.
I have been a resident of South Florida for over 25 years. Being able to practice real estate here in South Florida has given me a wonderful opportunity to do what I enjoy doing the most, helping people and identifying their needs. Prior to real estate, I have had opportunities working in the social services sector and have had great experiences working with underprivileged youth. I thoroughly support the work that Place Of Hope does providing well needed resources to the children of South Florida. It is a privilege to collaborate with Place of Hope in the ongoing work of serving children.Join me in partaking in this ongoing mission by contributing to my Champions for Children’s fundraiser! Let’s do what really counts the most helping people and most especially helping children to have a safe environment to live, laugh, learn and grow!
