To kick-off the spring lacrosse season the lacrosse community has rallied together the past seven years to support Denver City Lax in providing all programming, including equipment, to kids at no cost. That’s why the Dash is so important! Lacrosse is the entry point to City Lax's youth development program. Elementary and middle school boys and girls join teams to play a competitive schedule while also focusing on personal and educational development. City Lax kids earn opportunities to attend leadership camps, receive academic assistance, take college visits, challenge themselves through outdoor adventure experiences and grow through a variety of other enrichment activities and individual mentoring. Teams and schools throughout Colorado have been gracious in their support, and in a few short years driven the Dash to becoming one of the leading, if not most successful, youth and high school based fundraising events in the state.
