Dear Friends and Family, This Spring I'll be participating in my 3rd Swim a Mile/Move a Mile for Women with Cancer and I hope you'll make a contribution. Once again, I'll be walking in memory of my mother who died of cancer in 1965, and many others who have succumbed to the disease, as well as for survivors (like me) who have triumphed over it. Unfortunately the list has only grown over the past year so it's more important than ever to support The Women's Cancer Resource Center (WCRC). Since 1986, WCRC has provided programs and a network of supportive services for women and non-binary individuals with cancer in the Bay Area. I’ve been doing this swim since 2010, and once in 1998, never imagining I would also be a cancer survivor. I started this as a way to destress and contribute to my community.
