CELEBRATING 15 SPLASHING YEARS!!! This year, the Sonoma Splashers proudly celebrate 15 years of participating in the Swim A Mile!!! On Sunday, May 12, at 9:30am, we’ll suit up once again and take the plunge – diving into another year of swimming to raise money for the Women’s Cancer Resource Center. Deb Winters, Tamara Murrell and Liz Larew will join Laura Lopeman, who swam with us as a teenager in 2012, 2013, and 2014, to the Swim A Mile this year!!! Since we last saw her in 2024, Laura graduated high school and college and has launched into the world. We're WAY excited Laura will be swimming with us again -- what a wonderful way to celebrate 15 years of the Sonoma Splashers! Please Join Team ZZ, created in Celebration and Memory of our beloved Zee Wong, friend, Pal, golf buddy, family and Community member who transitioned after her courageous and fierce battle with Cancer in November 2023. Fourteen years of raising thousands of dollars for WCRC. This is Miranda’s first year back after beating ovarian cancer. She’s happy to be here! Our new team member Addie Spencer is this year’s ringer! Miranda and Addie swam together in high school. We won’t say how many years it’s been since they first competed together! Your donations directly help women. This event is full of love, support and good vibes.
