We adopted our sweet Baloney from the APS of Durham in 2011, and she is the heart and soul of our family. We love every minute of her sweet smiles, leg leans and stinky farts. We cannot imagine a world without her. The APS takes in dogs and cats from our community each day who have nowhere else to go and provides them with food, shelter and lots of loving care. They give each animal the best chance to find a home through adoptions, rescues and rehoming them in our community. Please help me support the work APS does through a donation. I have been involved with APS since July 2023 as a foster and volunteer. Colbert (profile picture) was my first foster dog. He was so wonderful and showed me how much impact I can have in an animal's life and my community. Since getting Colbert adopted, I have been walking dogs at the shelter and get to meet so many lovely animals who are also looking for a home.
