I'd like to point out that TAMID is not a club that only includes Jewish or Israeli students; roughly 50% UCLA's chapter is comprised of students who do not have their own independent relationship to Israel. The beauty of TAMID is that students of all walks of life can join and build their own connections to Israel. Hi! Here's a little bit about me and my TAMID Group experience: I started off as a General Education member. I learned my classic "Porter's 5 Forces", but more importantly, was exposed to careers in consulting, financial services, and entrepreneurship -- all through the lens of Israeli businesses and case studies! I then was an organizing member of the TAMID x McKinsey Case Competition. The inaugural event had over 400 applicants and I had the amazing opportunity to review over 35 pitches! I then served a six-month term on the Global Leadership Board, working on exciting projects and providing insight into student programming At McGill, I now serve as the Chapter President, and have built up my chapter to 63 students, doubling membership rates in one year. This is a testament to our dedicated McGill students who too are eager to learn more about TAMID and its offerings. Since March 2024, I have sat as the Student Chair on the TAMID Board, leveraging my past leadership and involvement skills to make decisions about financial allocations, crisis management, re-branding solutions, and alumni retention strategy. This winter, I will be travelling to Florida with TAMIDCon, to speak at the first in-person student summit since 2020! Needless to say, my journey has been a whirlwind, yet rewarding and fulfilling too! Enough about me, why should you support TAMID at McGill? With the increasing sense of hostility towards Jewish students and Zionists on McGill campus, now more than ever it's important to connect students with opportunities that not only leverage their futures, but simultaneously connect them to Israel. Education and Exposure, in my opinion, are the gateways to meaningful development opportunities. TAMID has undeniably shaped my identity and carved a path for my future.
