2024 Rock N Roll 5k San Antonio So excited to announce that Team CMT is participating in the San Antonio Rock N Roll Marathon on December 7, 2024 (5K and 10K) or December 8th (Half Marathon and Marathon)In honor of Philip Warren (1974-2020) and for our daughter Reagan Warren, please consider supporting with your contribution to fund research and programs for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT). As a caregiver, I witness the physical and emotional toll that my daughter and late husband have endured as they navigate life with CMT.As a Board member, I know how hard the Hereditary Nephropathy Foundation works to advance research and fund programs for CMT.CMT is defined by a life of fatigue, pain, imbalance, isolation and losing today what you could do yesterday. It is surgery, surgery, surgery, muscle atrophy, more surgery, a life of discrimination and lost opportunity, It is 3x more energy and effort and hope needed to live a reduced version of the day I live everyday - a never ending race that defines degenerative disease. It is resilience and grit to get out of bed every morning.
